What Jump shack did with my rig was just move the laterals down wich shortens the legstraps so the put new leg pads on. Wouldn't extending the laterals just move the rig off the back. But I'm no expert either Na' Cho' Cheese

I'm sure some people won't agree with me on this but a stiletto 170 is more high performance. Talk it over with the experienced people at your DZ and see if its a good canopy for you. Another canopy could be a Nitron 170 a little less in performance compared to the stilleto but more than a sabre. Na' Cho' Cheese

how much did it cost you in supplies. Excluding fun (I know getting stiches is fun) but, Do you think it was worth spending time on making it or now looking back do you wish you would have bought one? P.S.That helmet is freakin' sweet Na' Cho' Cheese

and then to add on there's the canopy decent wich varies on wieght, canopy size, and altitude you deployed your parachute. Usually a student will spend 5 minutes under canopy, novice 3 minutes, an experienced skydiver will tend to get down way faster. Na' Cho' Cheese

how many jumps do i need to do video?
packing_jarrett replied to bastichu's topic in Photography and Video
yeah I started jumping my camera at 80 jumps and I started for just the reason you are; to film your own jumps. I thought it would have been no big deal, just get whatcha get whatcha get type thing. its not. Its a lot more complicated, I don't know how to explain it. So if your a pretty heads up skydiver and conservative you should have no problem Na' Cho' Cheese -
I don't really understand why some do and don't. If you know how then its the easiest rig to pack. (and what I discovered) its closing the container that is the hardest part of packing a reserve. When you konw how to pack a racer they're the fastest easies way IMO. but it varies. if your packing a tiny 250X250 and you putting a PD126 with a cypress thats a different story. edit: I observed my dad packing a racer with a new speed bag and that seems favor in the rigging. How much unstowed line do you leave when packing a main?
packing_jarrett replied to ernokaikkonen's topic in Gear and Rigging
it all depends on how much of a ruch I'm in. sometimes I'll leave 2 feet or I'll stow it almost all the way to the french links. Usually somewhere in the middle. Na' Cho' Cheese -

packing_jarrett replied to McDirt's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I'm gonna ask again cause last I didn't get what you guys said. but can someone do me up a picture like in paint of something of a seating arrengment. It seems really elaborate. Na' Cho' Cheese -
I understand the patter is everything idea, and I agree. but lets say if your over a different part of the landing area in 3 different areas and the beep is uuh at 350 feet if you listen to the beep you could set yourself up bad there. edit: oh wait nvm. I get the beep thing now. yeah that would be useful. Thanks for your answers Na' Cho' Cheese

what is the purpose of having warnings for swooping? just curious cause I've always felt canopy piloting being a personal judgement call. Na' Cho' Cheese

I recieved my Batwing and loved it. Nice 500ft openings. The first thing you'll notice is that its really fast if compared to something like a sabre or diablo, and a little faster than a stiletto 120. The toggle pressure is really light and turns super fast. I've landed mine in all conditions and it didn't do anything unpredictable. It has very high front riser pressure but once you get it down its easy to hold (wierd). All that said I wouldn't recommend a Batwing. A stiletto is more reliable and its NOT out of production.

pack-volume: ZP vs. F-111 & 9 cells vs. 7 cells
packing_jarrett replied to mostwanted's topic in Gear and Rigging
dude your right. looking in paragear you can fit hornet 210(9cellZP) in a 450PV but a triathalon (7cellZP) into a 560PV I guess to get better info what canopies do you want to put into which container. Na' Cho' Cheese -

yeah dude I remember packing for you and everyone else at the Boogie the 2 years before last. Good times. Yeah, thats right you and my dad go way back. Na' Cho' Cheese -
I've been packing for a few years and have been saving my money. My 14th spring was when I started static line and got through that in less than a month. I have 120 jumps in 8 months. I just kind of live weekend by weekend. For my gear I get hand-me downs from my dad, but other than that I pay for my helmet, camera, altimeter, etc. Na' Cho' Cheese
