  1. Oh dude its the best canopy for me. I made a few jumps today and went from landing on one knee to a 2 stage flare that got me a little bit of a swoop. Going from the Triathalon 160 to the 135 diable was a bit scary so I was extra cautious and it worked out fine. I love this canopy. And I was like oh (beep) when I did my first turn. It is the perfect canopy for me. Na' Cho' Cheese
  2. Finaly its been like an eternity. My dad finaly let me jump. I did some freeflying from 8K and did my first jump under my new Diablo 135. Na' Cho' Cheese
  3. yep...Oh I get it. Yeah haven't updated my profile in a while. the canopy you see the fx 114 is not my canopy its my dads. The one I jump now is a diablo 135. sorry for the confusion. Na' Cho' Cheese
  4. OK so the punishment was 2 weeks off jumping which means I can't go to the end of the month boogie. I'm totally understanding what he meant for overall my dads been around/in the sport his whole life with over 7000 jumps. I'm very thankfull he caught my mistake. Na' Cho' Cheese
  5. OK dude so check it out. No I don't have a USPA membership so I don't have the actual A license number but on the profeciency card that I have completed it does say that it is my tempory licence. Yes I haven't been "in" the sport for 14 years but I do probably have more experience then most skydivers today. Just tell me... what do you have against racers? Na' Cho' Cheese
  6. huh? oh yeah. thats soon to change though Na' Cho' Cheese
  7. no dude. my rig is at my dad's loft on the airport. check it out. www.thepoopsheet.com Na' Cho' Cheese
  8. I read in an article that a aircraft carrier was turning around and a group of skydivers planned to jump out and land on the carrier at its slowest point(note that a cruising speed of a carrier is like 30 knots) and so they timed it perfectly so they landed on the carrier. All planned be the miliary and no civillians involved so instead of prison they went the the military prison... dont they call that the brig.? I'll try to find the article and post it. 9. Ok here I go into a little more detail. When I usually get to the dz the first thing I do is get everything ready so when I do get on a load I'm ready to go. Me and my dad are driving to the airport and I'm thinking I better get my stuff together and that includes turning on the cypress so I can get on an early load. What do you know my helmet comes in and its a huge distraction. not even thinking about it I getting on the board. the reason I said I think its on is because I do the routine so often its like a reaction to saying its on. 10. no you see I didn't get a gear check thats when my dad came over and gave me one. I didn't bullshit anyone. I thought I had turned it on and was getting a gear check when we found out it wasn't on. and atleast at my dz you don't ground someone for forgetting something cause thats what gear checks are for. Is it not? Na' Cho' Cheese
  11. Lets say you were a dad of a kid who was about ready to get on the airplane. "hey son did you get a gear check?" you say. "nope not yet" your son says. you come over and give him a gear check and ask him if his cypress is on. he says it is. Now the dad that you are has to double check. its a racer so you take off the rig to see and you find out that its off. what would you do? Na' Cho' Cheese
  12. Dude thats flippin sweet, thats what it is. I mean with the P-51 and what was that other thing? a B-26? and the DC-3 and the shots. OMG what a rush it would be to be the camera dude to be taking those kind of shots Na' Cho' Cheese
  13. If only felines could stay kittens forever... Na' Cho' Cheese
  14. For small people I would not recomend because its extremly wide. Yes, it does fit onto your back but the container overflows your side so in freefall you might have unwanted turns for example: one time a lift web was slightly uneven which caused a turn throughout the whole skydive. But for the bigger fellas it will fit just like a sport rig. One of the most comfortable student rigs ever jumped.
  15. So do I want a PC109 or an HC40? Na' Cho' Cheese
  16. Yeah... I agree but after looking at the sony site further I saw this... and yes its half the price and I won't know the difference. uuuuh how about this one. Its in my price range its a PC 55. Na' Cho' Cheese
  17. Hey... what about this camera. its a Sony DCR-PC1000 what ever that means. Its somewhat cheap and it looks like it could fit on an L bracket. Na' Cho' Cheese
  18. I'm going to get this one because I can use it for other stuff besides just rw. and who really needs a full face when your probably not going to be doing some serious 4-way?I'm getting this one because its really cheap too Na' Cho' Cheese
  19. well... I wasn't thinking about taking stills. Your right I wouldn't do that with just one flat side. I was thinking of just doing video. That rat-hat wasn't made for camera but bonehead does say it could be used for camera unlike others that they recomend you do not set this so and so helmet up for video. I'd like to use a rat-hat if possible. Na' Cho' Cheese
  20. I'm looking to fly video some time in the near future. I'm looking at a BH "Rat-Hat" helmet that has flat surface to mount and L bracket. I want a good setup thats low profile. What kind of camera should I purchase and what am I looking for in a camera? Any help would be very much apreciated since you would be my only hope(does that sound desprate?) Na' Cho' Cheese
  21. I'm currently new and I like to jump with people my own level. Na' Cho' Cheese
  22. On my student canopy I'm wingloading a 230skymaster .5:1 Na' Cho' Cheese
  23. I have the same problem. Except I tense up like a board and go into a spin. What I do is relax and let the airflow morphe your body. Anyways thats what I'm going to do on my next jump. Na' Cho' Cheese
  24. Yeah, My dad was the same way. He was nervous too but I guess not to nervous since I'm doing it now at 14! Its so cool to have 3 generations of skydivers. My dad is so proud of me Na' Cho' Cheese
