Yeah I meant PC100 sorry for the confusion and I've read that USPA recomdation thing like a kazillion times. But is it worth the price? Na' Cho' Cheese
-
I'm starting to get into camera flying and I don't have a camera. BUt I've been looking at some cheap PC100's for around $250. Are these camera worth the money? Na' Cho' Cheese

This is what I do: Flake it out like normal, instead or quarting the slider pull it all into the nose, roll the tail a lot, Try to be real neat putting it in the bag, make a lot of small line stows. It opens real nice. Remember single stow with small rubberbands Na' Cho' Cheese

SL-ers: How were your first exits?
packing_jarrett replied to Thijs's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I only did 2 before my first hop-n-pop so they must of been pretty good. I wouldn't sweat it. Just hang from the strut in the arch and let go. Don't kick to try to get stable. Na' Cho' Cheese -
I'd like to play Na' Cho' Cheese

My first landing under a sabre 135 was perfect. I had enough speed to come straight in and still had some good glide. It turns fast and its really really fun up in the air. Great openings if you carefull, bad openings if your careless. I would recomend this canopy to all whose looking for a canopy without the "frills and bells"
-
Stupidest thing I ever did? I didn't research the canopy I was jumping. Yesterday I made 2 jumps. One under a Diablo 135 and one under a Sabre 135. On the diable I could bury the toggle and it would turn really fast, it was fun. Next jump, Sabre, I'm at 1500ft and bury the toggle to get in a different direction, I gave myself some line twists. That was pretty scary. Luckily it cleared pretty fast. Learned from it. Na' Cho' Cheese

He says a sabre 135 then after a few jumps go to the stilleto Na' Cho' Cheese

SCARY: CREEPS skydiving gadget is this for real?
packing_jarrett replied to FIREFLYR's topic in The Bonfire
No it can't be real. Did you see the other things he was selling. The Self packing Parachute, The inflatable swoop trainer. I'm pretty... positive that it and the other items aren't real. Na' Cho' Cheese -
I want to go to a stilleto 135 because I'm having bad landing under the diablo. I'm not wing loading it enough so I HAVE to get speed to get a good landing. If I get a stilleto 135 it will have a better glide so I won't have to go as fast. We'll see how I do under it this weekend. Edit: I didn't intend on making this one of those "your under 16 and jumping? what about the law?" sort of posts! Na' Cho' Cheese

I'm 135lbs. with gear on. I have 40 jumps. I jumped a 230skymaster(9cell ZP) for 20 jumps, a triathalon 160 for 3 jumps, and a Diablo 135 for 17 jumps. What would be the better transition canopy. these are my immiadiate choices. Na' Cho' Cheese

What's your favorite Exit?
packing_jarrett replied to Floats18's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
anything higher than a hop n pop Na' Cho' Cheese -
I have nothing but good things to say about the Rat-Hat. I bought it for a camera helmet but ended up seeing it as a good freefly helmet. But if you look at the gear review it will tell you alot and what I think of it. Na' Cho' Cheese

How much did it cost you to get your "A" license?
packing_jarrett replied to grue's topic in The Bonfire
24 jumps at 50 a piece= $1200 Haven't got a USPA mem yet so... Can't get an actual A licence until I get a membership and until I'm 16 which will be in 2 years. And in 2 years the price is probably gonna go up alot. So all I have is the dreaded yellow card. Na' Cho' Cheese
