  1. Yeah my dad gave me the goahead to jump the suit. Its pretty awesome. It wasn't as twitchy as people made it out to be. But yet it required much more attention then the gti I was jumping. I made 9-10 skyflyer jumps this weeked all going excellent. Got it down in the 45-50 average. and was getting out 3 miles out from 10K. I still have so much to learn. Na' Cho' Cheese
  2. yeah jumpshack has a landing of the firebolt 298 Na' Cho' Cheese
  3. STOP IT! Guys your scarying me. Na' Cho' Cheese
  4. I would if we had some more up jumpers at my DZ DUDE. your my hero Na' Cho' Cheese
  5. Allright to add to the story... before I even jumped a ws I bought the skyflyer. Yes extremely bad on my part. Nothing I can do about it now. My instructor wasn't going to teach me on the s1. No problem I'll barrow my buddies gti (buddy jumps at dz 125 miles away). After 2 weeks of jumping this suit (20 jumps), I had to return it to him. I recently talked to my instructor and he says, "it seems like your doing good on the gti and will handle it fine..." "...so if your confident you should be fine" He told me to do the pratice handle touches and everything. The person who is holding me back is my dad. He thinks one day I will magicaly be ready to jump the suit. I'm not going to jump the s1 this weekend because my dad took it away. Looks like another week goes by thats hurting my currency. 6. Allright the deal is simple. I have over 310 jumps with the last 20 of them being made on a gti. I've been having stable exits and deployments with no line twists or anything like that. I've been flying the gti in the high 40's. I've been getting out some 3 miles away from 10K. The last couple of jumps I've been doing aerobatics. I think I can execute a pretty good barrel roll and front loop. I've gotten out of instability "easily" my instructor says. I had to send the loner suit back and have a skyflyer1. My equipment is a racer with a sabre 135 loaded at 1.2:1. No problems there. What would you guys think if I jumped the skyflyer this weekend? note: I know to make first jump/s handle touches. Na' Cho' Cheese
  7. simpler is better IMO. Bonehead mindwarp with chin cup Sony PC109/105 or any of the hc models .5x wide angle lens. D-box or l bracket. Wait to you have a few more jumps though. Na' Cho' Cheese
  8. QuoteAnd that's not to mention how easy it is on the packers. The difference between packing a 396 vs. a 350 is night and day. Quote I'd rather pack a set 400 than that 280 x-brace. I like how jumpshack makes a 298 hybrid. That would be really easy to pack. Na' Cho' Cheese
  9. Just got the coolest canopy ever. Crossfire 99!!!! I like it even before I jumped it, I like it Na' Cho' Cheese
  10. Yeah sorry read it after words. Heared of a doing tandems. Actually SAW VIDEO of someone forgetting the attachment points. Na' Cho' Cheese
  11. Letting someone with 275 jumps take out a tandem On a tandem: forgetting to hook-up the top 2 attachment points. Na' Cho' Cheese
  12. I've done 296 skydives in 15 months. Think about that... Student status, northwest winter, cessna 182. Na' Cho' Cheese
  13. dude you got screwed. This brings up a good topic as I've had issues with this. Others please tell me if I'm wrong. When buying a: CONTAINER it should come with risers, toggles, d-bag and pilotchute, freebag and pilot chute, reserve toggles. CANOPY it should come with lines, slider, and LINKS. 2 times I've gotten a canopy where the links were taken off. I had to untwist every single line Na' Cho' Cheese
  14. how I look at it is if you want it, get it. But it doesn't do anything license wise. I hope everybody knows that. Treat it like an award. I know many ball flyers that dont have ad licenses. Na' Cho' Cheese
  15. I jump power racer because: I like being unique I like the way it looks I like how its smaller Its light wieght Its easier to pack (reserve and main) Its extremely comfortable excellent riser protection and bridal protection plus I like getting crap from the fellas at the DZ Na' Cho' Cheese
  16. I heared they're bringing 2 182's to Skydive Toledo this weekend Na' Cho' Cheese
  17. Dude this kid is so lucky. I have 300 jumps a horrific malfunction and my dad won't let me base jump until I'm out of the house! no questions asked! 7 skydives isn't anything dude. That tells you how high to flare. But then again it seems going to twin falls is a no brainer compared to other places. But like others mentioned what if he gets a little cocky and decides to jump off an A gets busted and says he's done dozen base jumps does 841 get charged with neglagence? anyways I'm jelous. Na' Cho' Cheese
  18. or just buy a pc7 they're not bad camera's. They just don't have lanc. Na' Cho' Cheese
  19. hows he hooked up to the rig. Its not hooked up below the 3 rings like a tandem. Na' Cho' Cheese
  20. I know but what I meant to say is that it could be a lot worse if the riser cover comes out if its something without secondary risercovers like a vector or mirage etc. If the tuck tabs came open on a wings javelin etc you automaticly have 20+ inches of riser exposed. Did I say that right Na' Cho' Cheese
  21. I've seen containers that are worse for freeflying than racers. Like a Javelin or Wings without the secondary riser covers. Tuck tabs come open more often than my racers riser covers. If people don't know what racers riser protection looks like the risers are completely enclosed. When all velcro is mated you cannot see the risers see pic. The velcro get replaced yearly its a cheap 10 minute operation. I ff in a rig that was made when I was 2 yr old Na' Cho' Cheese
  22. dude did you read the whole thread? You couldn't have because you wouldn't be saying that. Whats wrong with being 15? Whats wrong with shooting tandem vids at 250 jumps? Tell me whats wrong with jumping a stiletto 120 at 250 jumps? You probably haven't seen too many 15 yr old skydivers. But if been to a half dozen dz I know you've seen vidiots with not that many jumps. I know you've seen people jumping way higher performance canopies and a higher wingloading with less than 250 jumps. A guy who was yelling at me hear came to see me jump. At the end of the day he wanted to apologize for the way he acted. He blindly took jump numbers and age against me. He's a very experienced jumper and told me he and others should have nothing against me. Na' Cho' Cheese
  23. if you maintain the velcro then it will be fine. I have a velcro racer and I've never ever had any flap come open with my 250 (not a lot) freefly jumps. Na' Cho' Cheese
