  1. that would be $400 to get money out of it. $350 to get rid of it. Na' Cho' Cheese
  2. I think jesus would see that I've been doing it for awhile with no problems except that I struggle with the fat ones. edit to add: relatively don't we all struggle with the fat ones? Na' Cho' Cheese
  3. why are you saying I have no business jumping with tandems? I have more RW skills than some people have with 500 jumps that RWorkshop recommends. I guess I'm a big exception to the rule. I don't have a velocity. but I can swoop the hell out of my stiletto. Na' Cho' Cheese
  4. dude wtf? I never said, "I'M GOING TO USE TANDEMS ON MY FREEFLY PRACTICE." what I said is I'm going to practice my freefly skills BEFORE I freefly while chasing tandems. Dude you don't know me. You've never jumped with me. You don't know what I can and can't do. Part B: 50 jumps flying a camera. I've done that. Na' Cho' Cheese
  5. no dude my numbers aren't a joke. After filming tandems all day on monday I now have exactly 200 jumps. I now have business being in the air with tandems. I'm sure more people would of agreed with you if you would have seen me dock on a tandem when I only had 50 jumps. I think you misread my post I CAN dock on a tandem. I just can fly 140 MPH on my belly. I can sitfly with out corking but it will take my time before I'll put it into pratice with a tandem. Except I did it once and it didn't turn out so good. It was like jump 150 or something. It wasn't paid for so I did it for fun. I have the video if your interested on how I did at 150 jumps. Email if you want to see. Na' Cho' Cheese
  6. he's said that to me before Na' Cho' Cheese
  7. the 140 is a mistype sorry bout that it should read 170. I don't know much about cameras. I used a .3 because I can get close and get everything. I use it because people tell me to. Safety is not all about jump numbers. and jump numbers isn't all about experience. I've been videoing tandems for awhile. My dad let me chase his tandems when I started early. Now that I have done a good job others have let me. Hell yeah I'm jumping a stiletto 120. I'm blasting it with the rears and everything. I'm downsizing even. Safety is a relative term. 8. so we're all agreeing that docking on the tandem is not such a good idea. Not that its dangerous but just the fact that a video can turn out bad. I don't take anything against it I agree. I'll find another suit granted the one I'm using is not the best. I do freefly a little when the situation is right. I should spec some tandems to get some practice. Na' Cho' Cheese
  9. I'm having difficulty staying down with the heavier set of people doing tandems... All right the really fat ones, the ones that can hardly get in the airplanes, the 5'4'' 250 pounders. I had to do a few of those yesterday . While it took a lot of work for me because I'm like 140 out the door I got down there hardly played around. The next one I got the advice to dock on it and use the tandem as leverage to keep the speed up. I didn't even want to touch them but if it meant getting a "better" video then I would give it a try. I've seen it done before with not a very wide angle and it doesn't look good but I used a .3 and it turned out nicely. What are your views on using the tandems as leverage? When it was first mentioned it seemed like cheating but I guess what ever works. The video: Exit, fly fast to get down, dock, release, tandem spins, dock, release, back off, video opening. 10. I also had a racer reserve ride but it was monday. It opened pretty nice seeing as I was on my back head down when I pulled the silver (no rsl). Na' Cho' Cheese
  11. so 300 cui + or - or a PD 126- Smart/Raven 135- tempo 150. Na' Cho' Cheese
  12. actually its bulky already. if you got one size bigger it might look strange. Good helmet though. Do a search and look in the gear section for reviews Na' Cho' Cheese
  13. In past 19 days I have bought... One stiletto 120= $450 One Freefly jumpsuit= $200 One Brand new Sony PC-109= $500 One brand new camera helmet setup (exluding camera)= $450 20 skydives= $400 Repack reserve because the stiletto flippin twisted like mad= free... the rigger is my dad. Dude start when your young and you don't have to pay bills like me. OMG thats a hell of a lot of money. I could save that for retirement! Na' Cho' Cheese
  14. That helmet doesn't look very attractive. Does it wrap around you whole entire face? Na' Cho' Cheese
  15. I got a brand new pc109 but can't make it work when I hook it up to the computer. It says, "USB MODE: disconnect the USB cable before changing the settings." and it won't let me do anything unless I take the cable out. I want to put the recorded footage onto a dvd and I'm at the menu on the computer. It tells me to press the "burn onto dvd" button on the camera. I've seen the button but can press it while the cable is on. My question is how do I make it work. It would be much helpful Na' Cho' Cheese
  16. don't switch over its a trick Ask yourself if your getting a good amount of performance out of you sabre 170. i.e. trying stuff out of the norm like front riser turns, turning really fast. It seems like your not that current to be jumping an ellip. yet. but if your a person who spends lot of time and is familier with wings and how parachutes fly maybe you might try a sabre 150 if its approved by the DZO/manager. It wouldn't put you at too high of a wingloading. Na' Cho' Cheese
  17. That doesn't seem like object fixation... more like a hook turn that could of been a lot worse. Instead of making that final turn I would have just kept going straight over the wind blade and took a zero on the accuracy. But I'm happy for you that you didn't die. I've seen people end up a LOT worse than that. Na' Cho' Cheese
  18. ask the pilot if you can try a bat hang. its where you flip upside down hooking your feet on the leading edge of the wing. its pretty awesome. Also what I find fun is launching a dive but sitting down on the step and then just rolling off of it. Na' Cho' Cheese
  19. I have a pretty small racer with a stiletto 120 and it hasnt spun into linetwists yet. but when was thrown into a javelin it had linetwists queit a bit Na' Cho' Cheese
  20. I understand you don't need a sporty canopy on a BASE jump but for instance something relative to a Raven 150 will pack into a regular BASE container pretty flat. if the person isn't too big (fat) not saying that anyone here is, I think a base canopy thats 150 "could" be fine in some cases. But I don't know what I'm talking about at all so I'm going to shut up Na' Cho' Cheese
  21. 5500 US Dollars. 5000 for a good deal. no more than 6000. Na' Cho' Cheese
  22. why did you make it so long? how come instead of making a larger container you didn't just put a smaller canopy into a regular container? What canopy is in it? DUDE!!! that thing looks awesome! edit: spelling Na' Cho' Cheese
