    Fit is everything! Don't listen to the salesman like they're God! You have to like the fit. They'll tell you it has to be really tight (and it should be). But, it shouldn’t be so tight as to give you headaches. Do some research on helmet fit, and try them on to see which one is right for you. http://www.motorcyclehelmet.com/helmet_fitting_guide.html Also, I always recommend buying an extra shield. They’re hard to find two years down the line and you’ll probably get scratches in the original soon enough. Blue skies and twisted highways...     In the fall of 1979, I took a very hard landing as a result of doing CRW too low (MY FAULT!). As I was later confronted with the bill for my 12 week hospital stay, I had several lawyers (unsolicited) tell me how they could “help me, at no cost to me!” I was visiting a nice little drop zone in Wisconsin at the time of my stupidity. The idea of suing these people didn’t seem right, so I said “no thank you” and found another way to pay the bills. Some thirty years later, I still travel to that little Cessna DZ to make some of the best jumps I’ve ever done. There should be a law that says “if you do something stupid, like jump from a plane, your act of stupidity is your own damn fault"!!! Buck up, Cupcake! But, what do I know?     I'd have to agree with Bill here. However, and Bill can attest to this, we've seen pilot chutes being tossed back into the plane. That's where the real issue lies. Whatever happened to "Arch thousand, Reach thousand, Pull thousand? Learn it, practice it, and get good at it. It's one of the skill sets every skydiver should have. The idea that you need one hand on the hacky to pull stable and on time is a bit ridiculous. Seems to me having that hand flying would be much more efficient?? Now, if your argument is that by having your hand on the deployment device you're protecting the device from snagging or accidentally being deployed, then I would say O.K.     That's a very tough question! The beauty of it is, there's so many really nice bikes out there and they come in all shapes and sizes. No one can make this decision for you.     I've found that my gear (stored in a gear bag) straps onto my bike much easier when I have my Givi Bags(saddle bags) on. The bags give me a wider platform to strap the gear bag to.     Sorry! You are correct sir. If you look at the pics, the name panel is sewn onto the side of the end cell and the "stabilizers" are actually line flares. I stand corrected on a technicality. Still, it'll make a great windbreaker... To the OP, How did the jump go? The one I had was short lined by the previous owner. So, it never did fly right.
