If thats the case then why is there even a discussion. Why would any business owner subject themselves to that risk. Why should they expose themselves to any risk? Don't let anyone jump, or even get on your property? top Top, you may be more correct than you know... I truely believe that lawsuits will someday be the death of this sport. Allowing minors to jump will just move up the timetable. Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."

I have seen this. Great work, but looks like a lot of work and an overkill for my purpouse. all I want to do it to attach flatlock to the round top helmet. It was a lot of work. But, I have the molds!!!! call me at 612-280-9046 Maybe I'd be willing to pull you a part from my molds. Once you have the molds, making the parts is easy. Keep in mind, there might be a good bottle of Canadian Wiskey involved in this deal..... Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."

A parent can sign a waiver for their minor!! It just won't hold up in court. And, It'll be that same parent driving the lawsuit. DZO's... Go ahead and let the kids jump. It's your ass on the line. USPA..... Jump age should be Legal Age of Consent!! as always, IMHO Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."

I would agree that it's not a beach 18. Look at the placement of the verticle stabilizers and compare to this Beach... I put that pic into photoshop to see if I could enlarge enough to get the N#. No luck with that. Do you have a better quality copy of this pic? Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."

I did it once back in the 70's.... wouldn't want to do it again, however, I had a real nice stand up landing. I have L & R for left and right on all my risers. When I'm switching canapies (usualy for CRW) it helps just as a visual check. Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."

Taking Up Skydiving in Mid-life

It's not about your age. Welcome to the sport! Now, I have two comments.... 1. Your 46? Unless you're planning on living till you're 92, that's not middle aged. That's just plain old. 2. When compared to many of us here, you're still just a young pup. So, again, welcome to the sport. Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky." -
I bartended for many years.... Anytime someone tipped me two dimes on a $1.80 beer, (beer was cheaper then) I always knocked it on the bar twice and made sure they knew it was well appreciated. You see, I knew that I could serve 5-6 hundred beers that night. Twenty cents a beer added up. Plus, that same customer always came back to me and always left that change. Other customers learned to tip watching me knock those dimes on the bar. All you service people out there who are "expecting" those big tips need to re examine your job. Work hard and appreciate what comes your way. Everything else will fall into place! Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."

Each student is different! A good teacher recognizes that fact. They identify the students’ abilities/inabilities and go from there. Tunnel time is no guarantee of student success, but a good instructor will identify and build on that experience. IMHO, as always.

Not to worry, I think I read somewhere that the contribution to the non-profit counteracts the caloric intake. It's like weird physical science or something.... pass me a cookie Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."

So what do you think the other guy is saying about you???? JerryBaumchen Right back at ya ..... Osceola was filled with good people (charactors one and all). That's why it's missed, and remembered fondly. I only jumped there occasionally. But, I was always made to feel at home. One time at the NCC Boogie, a group of “ladies” decided to do a buff dive. One of the girls had all the cloths in the back of a pick up truck and the plan was to drive down to the end of the runway to meet the others when they landed. However, when the plot was discovered, the pickup was hijacked. Anyway, my question is this…. Who were these girls that had to walk back wearing only parachutes togas? Come on girls, fess up. The ceiling in the hanger had the leg busted thru the ceiling panel. Clad in paratrooper boots and kacky jumpsuite. I always got a chuckle from that. Great place to jump. Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky." -
I disagree! Waxing skis is indeed an art form. Just like packing your parachute. It's part of the sport and something to take pride in. It's not hard to learn and easy to do. And, don't forget to sharpen the edges. Spend your money on lift tickets. Wax your own skis and pack your own parachutes. IMHO as always. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=how+to+wax+skis&aq=0&aqi=g10&oq=how+to+wax+sk Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."

How do I go about joining a skydiving team?
skyjumpenfool replied to trooper2's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
O.K. You're interested in getting involved with team skydiving. Here's some food for thought.... http://skyleague.com/indexX.php When you're ready, there'll be a slot on a team for you. The first step in your journey to the moon is deciding you want to go there. Welcome to the sport! Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky." -
More likely, Homocide by airplane was the plan. Glad everyone else survived. Sorry to see he took a good jump ship with him. Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."
