Cruiser/chopper style motorcycle foot position

If you don't crash every once and awhile, you aren't going fast enough............. -
Weirdest place you've misplaced your cell phone.
LongWayToFall replied to JohnMitchell's topic in The Bonfire
A buddy of mine wedged his in the bicycle rack on his car while he was unloading some stuff. He lost it for several days and ordered a new phone, and eventually found the old one still on the roof of his car haha. Once, mine fell out of my pocket in my pickup truck and ended up under the carpet behind the seat, and i didn't find it for 8-10 months -
Bla. That was horrible.

2 Stroke? If it became hard to kick over to the point you broke the kick lever, it was probably flooded out big time. Turn the choke off, disconnect the ignition coil, remove the spark plug and kick it over to get the fuel out. Put the plug back in, hook the coil up, and try it. If you have someone to help, you could always try bump starting it. Luckily, if it ran good before, it is probably fine (the engine shouldn't be broken, and the jetting hasn't changed etc). 2 Strokes are also as simple as it gets!

That is a funny picture! A better comparison to skydiving would be FF vs RW. RW=classic, old time, standard way of skydiving. FF=New, faster, "all the cool kids are doing it." There are starter bikes for both sport and cruiser. Ninja 250 vs Honda Rebel or Buell (RIP) Blast for example. A new rider on a big inch custom chopper is just as retarded as a 160hp super sport machine, so don't put those words in my mouth. And FYI, yes racing has allot to do with cruisers. Lets look at the new Goldwing for example. New aluminum frame, fuel injected engine, cartridge forks, floating disc brakes. All of these things have come about because there was a need to develop better components, and it sure as shit wasn't some random guy on his way to work who got them first. It was the guys on TV, at the race track. Win on sunday, sell on monday. You may hate super sport bikes, but just like advanced canopies, the technology trickles down to you eventually. -

If your argument is safety, than that includes the ability to rapidly turn the bike, as well as stopping as quickly as possible. The no front brake is obviously not a smart thing, although I love easy rider and that machine is certainly bad ass! For long distance riding, it is a compromise, you sacrifice some safety. To be quite honest though, the average sport rider is going to push it to the point of being unsafe much more often then your typical cruiser. Eh, all of life is compromises. I dig getting down in the corners, and being uncomfortable as fuck is unfortunately part of the deal. 100,000 miles later and I still haven't wised up, maybe I need to get closer to your age and mileage to start thinking clearly... -

Comfort and safety are 2 completely different things. If you want to look like this, be my guest: http://www.cyclespot.com/forums/photopost/data/500/apes-717862.jpg The proper place for foot pegs is under the rider, so they can weight the bike. The proper place for handle bars is directly in front, so you can get your weight forward in turns and under braking. But who knows, maybe I am wrong, and next year all the latest race teams will discover harley's genius and we will see Rossi on a bike with no front brakes and a springer front end... hahaha -
Unfortunately school books have taken up my time recently, but if you every want to read a top notch funny book, check out this: http://www.amazon.com/Dave-Barrys-Complete-Guide-Guys/dp/0449910261

After a hard weekend of jumping----------

Fuck man. Why you gotta do that to me............. -
I heard about that, but I guess they only let pilots fly in the early mornings, so no thermals, just a glide from top to bottom. Also, you need an advanced rating, kind of like a D license. http://www.yhga.org/siteinfo.html

If it really is crazy glue, ie CA glue, it will take something more than oil. Whatever you use, it would probably be safest to just wash it with plenty of soap afterwards....

Man what a dick. Gets the wallet, then turns and fires while riding away?

Man. My buddy and I always joked around that his girlfriend (who likes pigs) could raise one for us to cook. Somehow I think it would get too personal hahaha. Speaking of bacon, I found the most excellent recipe in a video, and decided to make it tonight. Pure genius. Check this bad boy out! Delicious. You know a guy this happy in a video can't be wrong. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dc_37m9spG4

That thing is big! Fortunately (unfortunately?) I am not feeding that many people, so I do not need a 150lb pig. I have seen pigs done a couple ways, but the heat source I can handle the best is my smoker, hence why I was hoping to get a small pig to throw on it. It may be just too much effort to do a whole pig, we'll see. Someday I will cook a whole pig, it is on my bucket list hahaha.

We have an in house vacuum, and we usually suck em up and then suck up some bug killer to make sure they don't crawl back out, if they were hanging on somewhere. Please for the love of god, kill that spider. You would want to die with that many children too!
