  1. What, you figure if you go public that I'll HAVE to follow thu?? Geesh, why can't you just LAND? I don't have any problems!!
  2. You don't necessasarily need "permission", but there MUST be an "insurable interest". Just a roomate would not be able to take out the policy unless, he would "lose" something if the "skydiver" died. Walmart (or any other business) "could" take out polices on employees because the LOSS of a "trained key person" COULD cause an economic loss. Insurance, its what I DO to pay for my skydiving.
  3. If you didn't understand what I meant, then its not even worth explaining. scott
  4. You know something is SERIOUSLY wrong with a country that Suspends a kid for threatening bodily harm with a rubber band, but lets a murderer walk on a technicality. sheeeeesh scott
  5. Dude, you need "Cooking for Dummies" Don't take that personally. Scott

  8. OUCH, that stings. Ok Ok so I've got all of 36 jumps. But I live here in FL, so that # should be rising rapidly, ALL YEAR LONG.
  9. Yep, I totally agree. They ran at least 12 loads out of our DZ Sat. We HAD to wear long pants, and t shirts (it was so dam cold). In the summer time, it does get SOO hot, u must go to the beach or the lake, or maybe leave the door open on the plane, that really sux. Then, in the FALL, well, you MUST turn your A/C off and leave the windows open all day and nite, and this just isnt right either. Oh, and well i guess you HAVE too go jump, every weekend too. arrrrrgh Then comes winter, and it just gets SOOOOO cold. U know I remember ONE day this past December it was 19 when I got up at 6am, and damned if it wasnt 70 by 2pm so, we decided to go jump. Now, we got spring coming up, and dang it, its gonna be MISERABLE. Mornings will be in the upper 50's to mid 60's and afternoons will be around 80, sooo, i guess I'll HAVE to drag mmyself to the DZ to see What jumping in the spring is all about, I cant imagine it will be much fun. So since it is SOOOOO awful down here (for skydivin' and everything else) all you folks up north just stay there!!! And all you Florida people, SHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Don't let them know how good we have it, we get enuff of them dam people from up north clogging up our streets as it is.
  10. I am starting to think that Canada never did "cede" from France.
  11. Thanks Matt. I also just found a link to Scott Millers class. Any others to consider out there? Scott
  12. Ok all of you people in the know. Where do I find schedules for canopy classes for the likes of Scott Miller, Brian Germain, or others?? Thanks for any help. Scott
  13. I meant this as a tongue in cheek remark. I would never advocate someone the size of you husband, and with his experience, jump a 190 sq. ft. anything. Please accept my apology and convey it to you husband. Sparky (Thank you DeN) Apology accepted, altough unnessary, I got the tounge in cheek. Scott (the Husband)

  18. Actually Markup, The domesticated ferrett is NOT related to the N American Blackfooted ferrett that you are probably referring too. Now, I HAVE been wrong before, but I am pretty certain on these points. Always a possiblility tho as I am not a Biologist or vet or anything.
  19. didnt mean to hijack, Slappie. Scott
  20. I'd personally be more worried aobut the Ferrett hurting the cat. LOL Also, they are NOT rodents. They are closer relations to cats than anything and if you are interested, they were originally BRED and kept by the ancient Egyptians to CONTROL the rodent populations. (I'll take Ferretts for $1000 Alex) However, they will go anywhere they can squeeze there heads into.
  21. A ferrett would make a GREAT addition to that set. We had 2 once and they played w/ BOTH the dog and the cat. It was cool to watch. scott
  22. It was my New Years resolution to stop (after 30 yrs) and so far (knock on wood) I have yet to chew. I do still catch myself occasionally but it is getting easier. Wish me luck
