  1. Might I suggest that if you are in no hurry to sell; that you run an ad for $1500USD for 30 days to test the market, If that doesn't warrant any interest, drop it to $1400USD for 30 days, etc. until you get to your bottom dollar. You'll need to take into account who pays the shipping and any inspection fees. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  2. List price is $2,350.00 USD Suggestion: Leave it priced at $1,500USD. You can always consider offers for less; but can't negotiate a higher price than what's in the ad. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  3. Neither the ground or the horizon... Depending on the canopy.. just like an aircraft... approximately 45 degrees until you find the glide slope. Talk to your instructors about the type of flare you should be doing on that particular canopy. Some are a full one-step flare... others a three-staged, etc. Finally, please stop butt-sliding and take the PLF/R (fall/roll) like you learned in class. Practice it some more if needed. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  4. Our opinion will coincide with that of your AFF/I. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  5. Might be better phrased as 1.0 to 1 or less. Edit: I know what you meant (larger canopy), but since you were referencing W/L AND talking to someone with very few jumps... Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  6. I kinda rate them with eMachines. As long as you back up often and realize you have a disposable computer, then move ahead in that knowledge. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

    Caught cheating

IMO, even posting her name on a public forum shows poor taste. Makes me wonder what her side of the story is. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  9. I'm sorry, but I get this nomination about as well as I got the whole Caribou Barbie thing. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  10. Nope. Just as we do; business tries to mitigate risk to maximize results. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  11. I don't watch much TV; so I'm not familiar with the show and whether that's a good or a bad thing. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  12. Shhhhhhhh... for God's sake, just as the politicos may not know the cost of a loaf of bread or a gallon of milk; they may not know the price of gas has come down and increase gas prices again to increase tax revenues. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  13. I tried that with a Judge once. "The officer had to see me decelerating from 45 to the 35 speed limit since I was down to 39 when he clocked me" The Judge told me the sign is where that speed limit starts, so be decelerated by then. $75.00 + court costs Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  14. Agreed. I have a nice framed copy of this Teamwork in my office. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  15. Really... he might be more attractive at that point. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  16. Scroll down... It looks like he's a Cadet Second Lieutenant in ROTC. Are they considered deadly weapons at that point? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  17. Damn you, nerdgirl and rushmc! - you made me search wider and deeper. Sharing: Source: Jimmy Goddard.. 18. Here again, it's not the fringe or any right throwing the suits... Berg is a Dem and Keyes is AIP. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  19. Actually, most of these suits are being thrown against the wall by Dems or AIP's. For example, Berg is a Hillary supporter. Keyes' opinion and reason on the matter appears to be (which I agree with): Furthermore... Personally, I would like to see a Supreme Court ruling just to put the matter to rest. Finally, I served as a soldier under Dems and Reps., I may have an opinion about them, but the bottom line was that I did not have to agree, disagree or even understand the CinC's directives, The only thing that mattered was we support the Constitution and the CinC. If the Supreme Court finds that Obama is a natural-born citizen and can constitutionally serve as the next President; then let's get behind him, join hands, sing kumbaya, and get busy with fixing a whole lot of shit. I can tell you this... With what he's stepping into; there's not going to be a lot of middle ground. He's either going to do really well or really poorly. 20. No argument. I'm just the messenger. I think it'll stand. RE: "USNA of 1940 states is now outdated and that the 1952 version supersedes it." I believe that to be true also and that 1952 version actually rolled all the various acts under one umbrella. 21. Being of Sicilian descent, we only use plain old drinking glasses for our wine.
  22. Most any Army/Navy surplus store I use a light "like" this.. http://www.lsdinc.com/content/product_details/8 also available at your local Army/Navy store for about $19.00-29.00... except I strap it tight around my thigh just above the knee so I can bend my leg at the knee during the opening sequence so it bounces the light off the canopy and I can keep my hands free... just in case. 24. As you build your jump numbers, it's also important to build your internal clock. I would recommend the Alti-3 for awhile - you can get a used one cheap, they are very reliable, it'll force you to continually check your altitude, build your internal clock and reference visual ques of altitude (calibrate your eyeballs), plus give you time to research more expensive options. 25. Personal best is 14 in one day. Course I kinda cheated; it was a group from work that approached me and I gave them about an hour presentation on the varying methods... some went Tandem, some went AFF, others went S/L. Of all, one stayed in the sport about a year and was lost when he fell in some pussy. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
