  1. 1. You weren't there, so you don't even get to discuss that. 2. 99% of those that had weapons confiscated had NO identification on them whatsoever. 3. Those that did were let go. 4. I also admitted that mistakes were made and they were rectified. Please tell me that you have _some_ time in te military and know that not everyone gets _the word._ Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Even the pros do not bluff much at a full table and can get away with it more as the final table dwindles. IMO: the best way to learn how to play Texas hold'em for free without going to those sites where they just throw the free money and pray school of poker is - Sit and Gos on Ultimate bet (SnG's) 9 people sit down. last man standing gets the whole pot. It will teach you patience and discipline. If you're not ready to play for about 2-3 hours - don't sit down. They have their share of donkeys on the site, but nothing near what Full Tilt or PokerStars has. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  3. I the fuck talked about margins... As you know if you get into day trading, they're pretty good about pushing margins on you. And, that my friend is why I suggested he bring it up. Not to mention my own margin misery... looks pretty good on a market upswing, but when a sector (technology) nosedives on ya... And, all you're getting is margin on top of margin call every day for almost a year until your entire day-trading portfolio has vanished... Most casinos will allow players to have a cheat sheet off the rail (below the table). The cheat sheet can be comprised of winning hands and best and worst opening hands and that's about it. However, It is wise to ask before play... some casinos do not allow a cheat sheet as an excuse to void the bad beat pot. Good luck... and, do have fun with it. 6. You may want to provide a little information on the pros and cons of "margin/call." 2002 was a very bad year for margin call. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Sure - give the short course... I was thinking of PM'ing you today anyway about this... been playing poker for 30 years and have only seen someone else's Royal flush. In the past month, I've had three Royal Flushes. I gots a whole lot of Desert Diamond RF jackets, now. On the third one, I thought, Maybe it's like golf... some guys golf for thirty years and never get one and all of the sudden will get two or three in a row. Did you happen to see the quad A's vs. the Royal Flush in the WSOP - as everyone was taking pictures; the announcers said, the odds of seeing those two hands collide were 1.2 Billion:1 Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Don't do any pre-flop betting unless you hold a good starting hand... http://boardgames.about.com/od/poker/tp/best_starting.htm I also play a lot of mid-high suited connectors (e.g. 6/7H, 7/8H, 8/9H, 9/10H. 10/JH) with two exceptions, 1) I won't usually pre-flop bet more than twice the big blind with them, and 2) the 3 "F" rule - If I haven't Found it on the Flop; Fold. Which is usually a good rule no matter what you have in your hand. Don't fall in love with pocket paint (JJ, QQ, KK, AA) If you have JJ and a K hits on the flop and there's at least four players; what are the odds that someone holding that one king will pounce - watch the betting, but also watch out for the trap. If you have Pocket AA;s - while that is the best startling hand in poker and will reflect an 88% chance to win - PREFLOP: it may mean squat after the flop. If the flop come out 8,9,10; remember there's always folks like me who run suited connectors and could have the straight on the flop. If it comes out 2,5, 7 of hearts, remember there's people like me who hang on to suited connectors and would have a flush. Even if a flop is 2/3H and 6C; Depending on how expensive it is to see the turn; I'll stay in. On the turn, I've got a 38% chance of making my flush by the river Don't check me into allowing me to get my flush. If you check it down to the river and I bang my flush; don't get mad at me for catching it on the river. On the flus draw - you better make it expensive for me to see that turn. In the JJ - one K scenario; its better to throw away a winning hand and keep your money, than to chase that less than 5% chance of tripping your J's on the river. Muck a lot - be the most patient person at the table. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  11. Did anyone read the entire bill from top to bottom or just the editorial snippet in OP's thread? Please read it and then share with me how it is any different than what police, soldiers or even a CCP/W has to go thru to establish they are/will be responsible owners (or in some cases lenient when passing on legacy weapons to family, or loaning weapons to friends for up to 30 days). Please snip the section that "unsettles" you and put it in quotes and state your objection/opinion below. I only ask that you give me YOUR opinion/objection and not spew some NRA rhetoric at me. While you're at it, please remember that I've probably had more weapons than most on here combined and been a right-to-own advocate for some 30 years - so it may be a bit of a hard sell. I really want to know here. I really want to understand your objections on responsible ownership of a weapon "title" from cradle to grave. Now, I don't agree with all of it, so 'll start: How is supply defined? Does it mean providing gun ownership transference records upon request of the local ATF Or, does it mean supply it upon police entry? Could this be interpreted as waiving one's right to warrant in their own home? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  17. I do RW and like the others - wear two. One on my wrist for me and one upside down on my chest strap for everyone else. I can use the one on my chest strap also - cause red means red whether it's upside down or right side up. Finally, well tuned calibrated eyeballs and internal clock helps too. 24. You know what I meant... the process of voting. Whereas, I would prefer we didn't give 90% of our peers an escape for non-performance in either organizational or legislative voting processes. It's the 90% who bitch and complain the most that do nothing and when they have the chance to do something... use some bullshit excuse about, "I didn't know the candidates or there was no one to support my platform." Fifteen yard penalty for bullshit. It's about being to lazy to give a shit, John. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
