14yr old daughter to Paris/London w/friends family???
BIGUN replied to Glitch's topic in The Bonfire
Well, yes, but my travel notebooks are just a journal. My notes on my experiences are more for myself... rather than sharing with the world. You gonna PM me those? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -

Should Candidates Describe Themselves as Pro-Gun?
BIGUN replied to JohnRich's topic in Speakers Corner
Ya know, over the past 35 years of voting, a candidates position on guns, gays, abortion, religious beliefs, etc. have all been a flag that blows in the direction of the strongest wind during that particular election. In this one, I care about three things, 1) A Balanced Budget Amendment (cause all the talk and previous BB Acts ain't meant for naught), 2) Making America financially strong again through debt, deficit reduction (see number 1), and 3) Made in the USA (jobs) and I ain't talking about no stimulus package for the next election; I'm talking about a business plan for the next generation. Do You Support Assassination or "Targeted Killing?"
BIGUN replied to lawrocket's topic in Speakers Corner
I cannot answer the poll as the question uses "Assassination" and "Targeted Killing" as synonyms; when they are not, with only a "Yes" or "No" response. There is also Executive Order 12333 Section 2.11 Prohibition on Assassination. "No person employed by or acting on behalf of the United States Government shall engage in or conspire to engage in assassination." HOWEVER: Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
While I realize you're asking for something near Skydive Dallas... you can check out Oklahoma Skydiving Center in Cushing, OK or Skydive Airtight... just north of Tulsa. Both can help with Big Boy (Anvil) training. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Probably the best person I can think of to assist you with this is: Tom Buchanan. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?username=tombuch; Facebook.com/Tom.Buchanan gplus.to/TomBuchanan Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

It goes in cycles with college curricula, working students, and skydiving seasonality. The points being, 1) if you're going to use your GI bennies AND want to skydive... do something where you can continue your education if you have an injury, 2) after college, you can continue your revenue stream if you have an injury, and 3) the main point being is there are a number of schools with skydiving clubs... http://www.collegeskydiving.com/college-clubs/ Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Might I suggest that you use your GI Bill to pursue a degree at an institution that happens to have a skydiving club? Then you can kill the proverbial two birds.... http://www.collegeskydiving.com/ Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Saudi woman to be lashed for defying driving ban
BIGUN replied to JohnRich's topic in Speakers Corner
ONLY ten lashes?!?!?!? Sheesh, there must be a progressive feminist movement going on there. There was a time when she would've gotten stoned. Next thing you know, they'll be letting their women vote!! Then what? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -

http://money.cnn.com/2011/09/15/news/economy/boehner_speech/index.htm Off the table? Seriously. Fuck you Boehner. What Boehner said was, "It's a stimulus package to the next election; not the next generation." Sounds kinda wise to me and I'm not a Boehner fan. Damn, I'm glad I learned English as a native. French, Italian and Latin were a breeze compared to my Mother tongue. I had to learn German while in the military... Lived in the Saarbruken area while in Germany and with so many countries near by, one quickly learns that if they learn the correct grammar for ANY other language, then to learn other languages is just a matter of learning the words. Evidently, it is we English-speakers who are the grammar screw-ups. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Interesting thing... when I was in my teens, I would have recurring dreams of falling, then as I approached the ground would slow gently and fall, roll or in some cases wake up just before hitting the ground. The method of my falling was different... once it was a roller coaster ride where the car shot off the top turn, another time I was shot out of a cannon, etc. After going to Airborne School, the dreams never returned. Not to sound imperious, but have you seen the photos of "people of WalMart" on the web? They're basically pictures of (as in: mocking) people who look very much like what they almost certainly are: in the economic lower class. Now, there's a reason for why so many such people seem to be found at Wal Mart: because WalMart - just like, say, Woolworth's of days gone by ... And, I'll have to stop you there, because in days gone by... WalMart used to be a "Made in USA" only organization. Don't get me wrong, Andy. I understand. I really do. Doesn't mean I have to like it. Any of it. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
-
"have gotten lazy..." as in a long process over time. WalMart grew exponentially over the past 15 years whether economic times were good or not. Now that it is more "not" I understand the need for paycheck to paycheck survival.. but this didn't happen just when the recession began. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

That's the right answer to just about any question, isn't it. You have to think about the downstream effects. And, if one of the downstream effects of our not giving a flying fuck what other countries think of us is that we get a significantly worse deal, then we need to take that into account in our actions, and decide if it's worth it. Sometimes it will be, and sometimes it won't. Why should simple answers be good for big, complex questions facing the country today, when a little one like this has so many possibilities? Wendy P. Nope. It was THE answer to your question. If those are the requisite standards, then there is only one choice and that is to Google, "Made in USA" for that widget. Where we get off-center is in not holding standards required of American companies by those who manufacture "similar" widgets overseas. Nasa, Boeing, Lockheed, etc. would not/ could not purchase those items from the other countries on your list... But when it comes to the plethora of consumer items... we as Americans have gotten lazy. We shop at walmart for the deep discounted prices and then piss and moan because the cart is pushing the horse. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
