  1. Thank you, Jerry. I was assuming mid-60's based on the gear and the buildings at Ft. Hood. Keith Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  2. First... my condolences on the loss of Gene. What years were those pics? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  3. Well, there are some "foibles" in his journalistic attempt also. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  4. You've known her long enough to know that she's only going to fan the flames of pathos, logos and ethos and deftly move in between each one like an artistic fencing match; until such time there's a sidestep, thrust and parry, and little buzzer sound with a pause to end the drama with no real winner since no real blood was drawn. How's that for a run on sentence? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  5. OK... I understand now. Where is it? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  6. Why are you hollering at me. I haven't even discussed anything with you and if you're going to holler at me; at least post a quote from one of my threads, so I have some kind of frame of reference regarding what we're discussing (or hollering about). Thank you very much. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  7. 1. I oughta get a couple of skydiving buddies from Tulsa and meet you up there next year. 2. I have been that up, close and personal with a plane crash like that and them folks in the front row that did not move back when they were told have zero clue as to what kind of explosion they almost witnessed thru their assholes. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  8. OK and with Michelle Bachmann vowing to "lock out the EPA employees and turn out the lights," I'm thinking that I'd really like to see you and her in some kind of cage match. My money would of course be on you, but it'd be a helluva fight. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  9. Full story: http://www.kirotv.com/news/28792794/detail.html I saw that story on the local news.... but how many people with concealed permits.. actually carry around hand cuffs too??? Now having said that, there is this new sax roll in which even Rick Astley's new single gets sax rolled Rick new single gets sax rolled here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnO1bElpMsI And then someone blended Rick and Sax Roll together here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vefp3ITBu1I Then there's the two hour SAX ROLL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erIazjxoMSg And finally, for those who can take it - the TEN HOUR SAXROLL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHy7DGLTt8g&feature=related And if you try to download the HD version of the 10 hour SAXROLL.. its 10 GB SAX GUY VS. 13. Wow, I thought since the Norwegian Government owned the majority of it's oil and banking industries they must be socialist. Government provided healthcare for all must not count either. I guess since they also have the largest amount of cash in the world on hand for the retirement of it's citizens doesn't count either. I won't even mention they have the most generous welfare system in Europe. And the right says that since Obama became president that we have become socialist, that's priceless http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Norway Thou shalt read more than the first couple of lines of Wiki to begin the journey of ism enlightenment. I love how people point to the Nordic Model and say, "See, Socialism works" when it is not "Socialism." If you throw certain aspects or economic bullet points; then by your surface-skimming definitions, the US can be considered socialist because we pay taxes to fund our education system. Welfare in Sweden and Norway don't even have the same definition as it does in the US. One has to look at the whole pie (system), not pick the pieces that validate their argument (welfare, healthcare, etc.) Read a book and stop espousing what others' say. Are you saying most of the conservatives in this country dont know a fucking thing about what a real socialist government looks like..... oh the irony.... And liberals also. 16. Why yes...yes I do! It never ceases to amaze me how friggin stupid some people are. The last time I was in Jasper Park in Canudah..EH... I saw urban idiots with cameras stalking up to within 15 feet of Bullwinkle till a ranger came along and shooed said morons along andgave them a stern talking to about leaving him alone. Rocky was nowhere to be seen at the time. Luckily Bullwinkle was more interested in munching down on his favorite plants at the time.. instead of using his rather LARGE set of antlers to let urban idiot know whose turf it really was. See, now leave them alone... otherwise, I got nothing to watch on RealTV "Stupid of the Day" whatever show. I think I'm addicted to that channel. Ya know, Deers kicking the shit outta some guy, Alligators grabbing Billy Bob the PROFESSIONAL alligator wrestler's hand, chimpanzees tearing up the police mobile... 17. Wow Jeanne.. talk about ya making this easy for me. Edit: OK... I just can't let this go. Think Secretariat. This is gonna hurt; isn't it? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  18. Personally, I would never own a money sucking diesel again. My current fifth wheel puller vehicle is a 2003 Dodge 3500 Dually Gas While its only got 60k miles on it... I've been looking for a quad cab (the dually is a single cab and great for the lining up the ball on my horse trailer style hitch). The new Dodge 1500 has a significantly increased payload and towing capacity. Here's the hyperlinks to the spec sheet: http://www.dodge.com/bodybuilder/2011/docs/ram/rammlup1500.pdf Let us know what you settle on... 22. Morning Michael.. I've always been curious as to riggers who have skydiver's just come in throw down their rigs with the "See ya Friday" thing and that's it. You are right that it is a business. Riggers should not only have a check-box of what is to be performed and check/initial those boxes upon completion for the skydiver; but should also have a "Terms & Conditions" clause at the bottom or back of the Work Order requiring a skydiver's signature. 1. In this instance, storage fees if > than X days. 2. Statutory limits - Thirty days is the average, some local laws may allow more time. Nonetheless, ownership of abandoned personal property transfers to the owner of the storage facility after that date. They can then dispose of the property as they see fit - sell, auction, etc. 3. Concurrently; do riggers maintain additional liability insurance if their place of business has a fire, flooding, etc. Cause you know the guy that left it there for six months when he was supposed to pick it up the following week... will be the biggest pisser when the loft catches fire and his rig that should have been long gone is now in ashes. 25. Vintage Marcinko. I think its why I only read about 1/2 his first book. But its not that unlike a friend of mine who's books I read and call him up and say, "Chuck, what the hell were you talking about here... that's not how it happened." He'll say it's what sells books and it does say fiction on the binder. 'nuff said. We used to give him shit about "You never let the truth stand between you and a good story." and he would respond by saying, "You mean a great story."
