I see no issue with 100 jumps to be a coach or requiring 200 to jump a camera. This accident had nothing to do with either. A coach will (should) be working under an instructor. You can't say the same for some guy that buys a gopro. A coach will be working inside a structured program... You can't say the same for the guy with a gopro. Never said the accident had anything to do with the other. The point is... 100 more jumps experience is required to jump with a GoPro; than the 100 jumps required to entrust the safety of another human on student status... So, if we look at the incident report... this person, on this jump, with a hook turn on a 1:1 canopy spits a 180 at 150', and gets all busted up AND was one jump shy of being able to attend the Coach Course, but 101 jumps from being allowed to jump a camera. The requirements are just plain fucking silly. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

In Reference to the Emerald Coast Incident Thread. OK. So raise your hand if you think the minimum for a Coach Course to work with students should be 100 jumps, BUT the minimum requirement for jumping a camera should be 200.... OK. So I'm going with New England for the win. My decision was very scientific... The Patriots make THE best Super Bowl Ring Bling, Therefore, players are motivated to win said ring. I'm not sure how we're defining "transplant" but all I gots was an Aortic Valve Replacement and a Mitral Valve repair (which is still be reviewed and if its reformation will hold for the log run or another repair need be doen - which can be done by catheter now). In fact, in Europe, Aortic Valve transplants are being done by catheter now... and are in clinical trials here in the U.S. Quite frankly, It won't be long before the days of full invasion will be gone and the surgeons will be able to do everything by catheter or at most - partial invasion. The great thing about all the suit manufacturers is that they have so much experience in which fabrics and how much and where it needs to go to meet any body type to maximize the ability to fall within the normal range. (how's that for a run on sentence?) At 6'6" and 240# can easily fall at a range from 86 to 130MPH, so I have flown with a wide range of sizes, gender and skill levels on a single skydive. Sorry for the miscommunication. I'm quite familiar with its development and classification... my point was that for something that shoots a 9mm (a pistol round) and that an Uzi weighs 11 pounds... was poking fun at it. Every week we hear on the news about Amazon, Sony, Microsoft, Zappos, Trion, US Government, etc being hacked into and credit card information compromised. FB doesn't store, doesn't have, and doesn't want that info. Therefore, they are less risky than using your credit card for online purchases. FB only has what you give them. BTW, it's false that you have to re-opt when they change security. They were nailed by Legal Frontier on this a while back. They maintain your most strict preferences when they make updates (at least they say they do, and mine have remained constant) Curiously enough, we have a professor of Social Media who is an expert on Facebook's privacies and social impacts who is a skydiver...Mz Montana...any input on this conversation? Thank you all, I was taken to dinner tonight by two of my favorite ladies to celebrate. I do hope it's either a long-term lease or hopefully a purchase agreement. I have not been released to jump as of yet. I was supposed to be able last July, but am having some psych issues with having a four year old daughter and just how much should I pushing some of my risky behaviors with this kind of responsibility. Doc wants to jump again too and we're talking about it.. but we have agreed that if and when we do (later this spring? that we won't be on the same plane (She's already been in the one crash year's ago). I will tell you guys this. If you ever find yourself facing open heart surgery... Give me a PM and we'll talk.
