Check the stats ... the percentage of people in my country who die in firearms related deaths is WAY lower than in your country. I like gun controls, and wish there were more.

A couple of years ago we had a woman out doing a tandem to celebrate her 50th birthday. She had an entourage of at least 20 people -- maybe more -- with her. Sure enough, with all her friends and family on the ground watching ... they had a malfunction, and cutaway! Before long, there were a coupl;e ambulances on the scene near where the main canopy floated down ... I don't think, however, the passenger realized there was anything unusual going on until they were on the ground!

I would suggest that you make sure your BOC pouch is nice and snug ... I had a premature deployment with my D3 freeflying ... but have since had the pouch tightened up. No problems now.

This is so typical of the egocentric view of the world many Ameicans have. What is the "all" you mean? A country with a perverse fascination with guns and violence? A country that gobbles up the planets natural resources so fast they must start a war on another continent to ensure a continuing supply of a fossil fuel? A country that has a huge percentage of it's population in prison? Get off your soapbox ...

Well since all we are are made from was created in stars that went nova billions of years ago, I'd be pleased to be reduced to ashes in fire (after I'm dead, of course!) As for dying itself ... ? I just hope my kids are fully grown when I go ... Stardust ... that's us!
