To cold? Bwaahaahahaahaa!!! You could always wear a wet suit -- or even a dry suit! I remember a night dive once where my buddy and I put on our wet suits at home, then drove to the dive site. It was snowing heavily -- and the path down to the water's edge was under a thick layer of ice, covered by the accumulated snow. It's wayyy cool coming to the surface after a great night dive to find yourself in the midst of a blizzard!

Better off flying a canopy you can land safely under all conditions than flying something smaller you can land safely 99 times out of a hundred.

Over the past years, I have skied, played hockey, volleyball, walleyball, and scuba dived for fun ... now I have 2 kids, so most of my free time is devoted to them. I figure if ya work hard, ya gotta play hard!

"Noble"? Abandoning diplomacy and turning loose the world's most powerful military force on an impoverished country of 23 million where more than 1/2 the population relys on foreign aid for food, where children don't have clean water to drink, where health care is poor at best ... this is what you call this "noble"? And I would suggest the high ratings you have for your leadership are because the information you receive is VERY controlled.

The whole thing is illegal ... the is no UN authorization for this. It is an attack on a soverign nation. An effort to put a puppet government that will cowtow to US demands in place. Saudi Arabia is where the money trail for OBL leads ... it's a fu@ckin madman gone power crazy.

Chuck, if that is the case withall dropzones using this "service", then that is a good thing ... the impression I got from the original poster was that the consumer would end up paying more for the skydive using this service than if they walked in off the street. Thank you for your perspective.

I fully support seatbelt and helmet laws. These laws are in place to protect people who aren't smart enough to protect themselves. We also have bicycle helmet laws. A few years ago a teenage girl fell off her bike here at very low speed, hit her unprotected head on a curb, and died. A helmet would have saved her life.
