  1. I have problems with a couple of my videos also. Does yours suddenly skip from your jump to a 9-way lesbian hot tub scene too? I don't know. I didn't watch long enough to see exactly what it was, but it looked like someone about to do something completely wrong with a pool stick. You Dirty Brit - just what did you put on my tape! 2. Uh oh. Looks like trouble brewing! I look forward to the RV's arrival tonight to see who has stirred up what!!! Killing threads since 2004.
  3. That's fantastic! Don't get me wrong, I love it too, and I'm looking forward to it, BUT IT'S FREAKING OCTOBER!!! Killing threads since 2004.
  4. Uh, dz.com DOES have a chatroom. http://www.dropzone.com/chat/ Killing threads since 2004.
  5. Yup, procrastinating packing my stuff in my car so I can leave straight from work tomorrow. I can't wait. This is my favorite time of year to camp. A couple years ago the Catskills got an early snow. I went to bed early and when I woke up there was a wind drift a couple feet high that had built up on my rain fly. Absolutely beautiful being in the mountains for the first snow though. That said, everyone will probably wake up to find me in my car on Sunday morning. Killing threads since 2004.
  6. Great. Something is screwy with my tape that I had you put the last one on. I have a tape with some other jumps on it you can put them on. Killing threads since 2004.
  7. Probably for at least one jump. Let's talk up there. Killing threads since 2004.
  8. Shrek/DJ E-boy, When is Orfun bus arriving? Killing threads since 2004.
  9. Wish I could have something to do with that, but I'll be schlepping my ass out to Lafayette, LA to be in my college roommate's wedding. Probably best in the end, because I'm unemployed after tomorrow. This way I'll have some money left to jump in Thomaston the next weekend! Killing threads since 2004.
  10. Nope, not this time. Spence posted somewhere above that they had plenty of wood. I've got 3 or 4 stacks in my backyard though. Hans is supposed to pick up a truck full to bring over to the Farm for next weekend's boogie, and I'll work on getting it all picked up to have for the Super Mo Fo in November. 11. ***A University of Louisiana at Lafayette physics professor... You know, I've been bitching about Lafayette, LA for the last month since I realized I was going to miss a boogie at The Farm next weekend in order to be in a wedding in Lafayette. This is it. It would be too dangerous for me to go. I'm going to tell the groom I just wouldn't feel safe and spend the weekend skydiving instead! Killing threads since 2004.
  12. Wow, good for you! I go to visit my family every Christmas (although at the moment I live with them - not far to travel this year I guess). My brother and I always end up spending all day on 12/23 shopping together. It started about 10 years ago and has kind of become a tradition. At first we just couldn't get our act together to shop ahead of time, but now we both actually wait to shop together. Never gets any less tense trying to find everything at the last minute though. Back to the point of the post...shopping ahead is great, but do you need Christmas tree balls and lights now? That's the kind of stuff they are selling!?!?!?!? Killing threads since 2004.
  13. I just walked into Wal-Mart. It's October 14th and their holiday section is up and running, music and all. It's been a month since I went to Wal-Mart, so chances are it has been up and running even longer. Why why why why why why why why!!! Not asking for an actual reply to the question as I'm sure that it makes perfect sense when following the "retailer's guide to why we do stuff." But WHY!!! Killing threads since 2004.
  14. My desktop is fairly up to date and I've only gotten 5 units completed in about the same amount of time. Until I saw your post I had totally forgotten it was running in the background. My computer stays on 24/7, so I never think about it! Killing threads since 2004.
  15. Thursday Friday, Blech Friday night, Mountain Boogie! Mountains, here I come. Killing threads since 2004.
  16. See attached. Fine to open at work. Killing threads since 2004.
  17. Check at your DZ before you buy one. My DZ gave mine to me when I started AFF. Not sure if that is standard or just a good deal, but better to find out before buying one! Killing threads since 2004.
  18. My geometry teacher in high school was kind of scary. Whenever she would finish writing on the overhead projector she would turn off the lights in the classroom, spray the plastic sheet with water and then pick it up and flex it over the projector to make all of the different colors of ink run together. All the while humming or singing in a totally tripped out way. We thought it was pretty funny at first, but then she kept doing it, almost every day, for the entire year. Killing threads since 2004.
  19. Mmmm...kegs of . Greg - any idea how the pre-registration is going to work? Just let us know what to do to get started!!! Killing threads since 2004.
  20. So Mark - did you ever run into "that one kid" that you were so interested in finding at The Farm last weekend? I expected to see you still asleep in the chair by the fire when I woke up. Killing threads since 2004.
  21. Kind of wonder if this has anything to do with why my Dell laptop battery self destructed. ------- NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Dell Inc. is recalling 990,000 AC adapters made for their notebook computers, warning that the adapters may overheat to pose fire risk and electrocution hazard to users. Dell's recalled adapters were manufactured in China and sold between Sept. 1998 through Feb. 2002. The adapters were manufactured in China and sold separately for $30 and $70. The recalled adapters were used primarily with Dell Latitude, Precision and Inspiron notebook personal computers. 22. Congrats Kelly! If you celebrate like me and my friends did when we turned 21 you'll want a video camera there. Could be dangerous, but it sucks to be the only one that doesn't remember anything that happened! Killing threads since 2004.
  23. On Sunday, at 13.5, the pilot told us we were at 32 degrees F. Killing threads since 2004.
