Sympathy pains maybe? You know, maybe it's time to invest in some of those little slip on ear muff/cover thingies. Killing threads since 2004.

That makes a great conversation starter. Sit in the waiting room and be really quiet for 15 minutes. Then, turn to the person next to you and say, "I have a bug in my head and it's still alive." Then smile. Or even better...just start making a buzzing sound and twitching a little bit. Killing threads since 2004.

Wow, way to keep you waiting! WTF! You should just go barge in. I mean, how many of the people ahead of you have a fricken bug in their head!!! Did they tell you what it was? Killing threads since 2004.

So did the ENT doc get the rest of the little bugger? Killing threads since 2004.

It's amazing the effect roaches have on air quality. My last year in NYC (living in an ancient pre-war building with a healthy dose of roaches) I had some serious allergy problems. When I went for a new test I was astounded to find out that next to ragweed, the thing I was most allergic to was roaches. The alergic reaction is primarily to their dried up skin that they shed as they grow. I think there are probably a lot of people that just think they get frequent colds that really have the same allergy. Killing threads since 2004.

I've just been doing that anyway. With how many skydivers are scuba divers as well I would think that at most dzs there is at least one or two people watching that would understand. Gotta' start somewhere. If more and more people start doing it maybe it will catch on! Killing threads since 2004.

And how about this website. It even has a searchable recipie database! Killing threads since 2004.

I think you got him just in time. I believe the actual abduction was scheduled for tomorrow. Killing threads since 2004.

Showing up with that first case or two is a great way to get to know more people too, and for people to get to know you. Obviously people love free beer, but most will ask what your beer offense was and are always looking forward to tossing one back with the new guy. Killing threads since 2004.

You've seen Men In Black, right? Where the "bugs" were really aliens... Killing threads since 2004.

Wow, after all of these suggestions I might just have to go to the store and pick up some Ramen even though it is not financially called for at the moment! Killing threads since 2004.

Doh! Make that three of us! I was just telling my brother yesterday that I thought going as Duffman would be an amazing costume! edited: 'cause I'm a moron. Killing threads since 2004.

I am the oldest of four. Had a much more strict childhood than the other three, which were progressively less strict for each one (to be expected)! In high school I was grounded if I walked into the house at 12:00:01am. On the other hand my sister (youger by 8 years) was just told to get the car home in one piece, and if she was drinking to call for a ride. Killing threads since 2004.

0:0:0 for me, but had an amazing time hanging out with my two little cousins!!! Killing threads since 2004.

They are amazing. I just moved back to Georgia, so this was the first time I had seen them in about a year. The last time I saw them it usually took a few hours of warming up before they really came out of their shell. It was a whole new world this time. I can't wait to watch them grow up. Me too!!! I had a fantastic weekend hanging out with my two little cousins. She is 3, and we were watching her big (4 yr old) brother in his first baseball game. Killing threads since 2004.

I use and prefer Yahoo, but the few people that I chat with regularly all use AIM, so I tend to use AIM more often than any others. Killing threads since 2004.

Quotehey all, i need some ideas on how to make ramen soup better tasting.Quote I sometimes drain the broth and just eat it as noodles. Pretty much lived on Ramen in college and again about a year ago when I decided that buying new scuba gear was more important than eating. I'll keep a close eye on this thread as I'm going to need some ideas now that it is time to buy a rig! Killing threads since 2004.

Would you sell your rig to get out of a bad situation?
FlyingJ replied to kai2k1's topic in The Bonfire
Funny you ask. While I'm not faced with selling a rig, I've been considering the sale of my scuba gear that is less than a year old in order to help pay for a rig. I think I've decided that I had better hold on to it. It will be easier for me to come up with the money for a rig now than it would be to come up with the money for new scuba gear when the decision is between spending the money to jump, or saving it for dive gear. Sounds like quite a bit of fun. If it is half as beautiful down there as it is in Marietta now you've got quite a weekend ahead of you. I'm off to see my little 4 yr. old cousin play in his first t-ball game. Killing threads since 2004.

I was thinking hard about it. PM'd with Thanatos about a ride down there, but family commitments on Sunday won out. Next time... Killing threads since 2004.

Right, because that is when the blue and green people come out, and the trees start talking! Killing threads since 2004.

That Mini isn't my car. My car was one level down and two spaces closer to the tree. The owner of that Mini was actually getting into the car when the tree fell. Took him a little while to get his shit together before being able to get in and drive home. Killing threads since 2004.

Got pretty lucky yesterday. This tree fell on the parking garage at work and collapsed the retaining wall on the lower level. The pile of rubble stopped aprox. 6 inches from my front tire. In afterthought, might not have been so bad if the car had been totaled. I hate the car, and if it gets totaled the bank will pay off the balance on my loan and I can start fresh with something different . Killing threads since 2004.

I'm planning on it. In no place to be doing night jumps yet but would love to watch and then party. If funds permit might even jump during the day. If they don't, probably a good time to start learning to pack! Killing threads since 2004.
