  1. If by "computer error" she really means duplicate transactions because people don't just chill out and wait instead of repeatedly hitting the submit button, etc. than she's probably right. Just follow the directions and the site does the job. I've only had one problem (the fault of the receiver of the money) and paypal fixed it for me quickly. Killing threads since 2004.
  2. Is that a Georgia fan thing? Watch out, Bama. Killing threads since 2004.
  3. ...That sounds expensive!!! Killing threads since 2004.
  4. Thought I heard there were actually two small ones. Killing threads since 2004.
  5. I am FAR from a "discerning" firearm enthusiast as someone else put it, but I've purchased a couple guns at Wal-Mart. I checked smaller gun shops first (salesmen in 2 out of 3 were assholes) and decided what I could have gotten (product and service) from the smaller guys wasn't worth the extra I would spend. I've bought a Remington 870 and a Savage in 30-06. Both far from top of the line, but my freezer is full of duck and deer which is what I was looking for! Killing threads since 2004.
  6. I often complain about living in places where it's a no brainer which political party will win, and where it often feels futile to vote the opposite way. One very nice side effect of that though is that nobody bothers spending any money on advertising in these areas. I've probably only seen 3 or 4 political commercials all season, and those were for local elections. Killing threads since 2004.

    Cash Cab

Great timing, I am watching Cash Cab right now! :) I do pretty well answering the questions sitting on my ass at home, but would probably turn into a drooling idiot on TV. I've known two people that got on the show, and the both blew it w/ the bonus question. Killing threads since 2004.
  8. Wow, that's almost disturbing. Killing threads since 2004.

    Gas Prices.

Holy Shit! The website lists a station in my town for $1.94. It is one of two stations right next to each other that always compete for the lowest price in town. I always laugh when one station is a couple cents cheaper and folks are stacked a couple cars deep with their engines idling waiting to buy the cheap gas. I'm out of town now, but hope it stays that low, my Jeep is almost on Empty!!! Killing threads since 2004.
  10. Down to $2.34 today. Keep on going!!! Killing threads since 2004.
  11. Just out of curiosity, did a neighbor or someone call in the burglary or was it not discovered until you returned from the hospital? Killing threads since 2004.
  12. And the really nice thing about this price was, you didn't have to pump it yourself! One of the few things about NJ that I miss. Really? I always HATED that I wasn't allowed to pump my own gas during my short stint in NJ. Killing threads since 2004.
  13. You mean you missed it? Killing threads since 2004.

    God...

That's funny, "The Tool" just spent the evening complaining about exactly the opposite! Killing threads since 2004.
  15. Just saw $2.45 today, and diesel is at $3.45. Time for a road trip!!! Killing threads since 2004.

  20. I've often wished they had been seeing what kind of crap wins thousands of dollars on the funniest home movie shows! I'm sure my dad's happy they aren't on film though. A few of my lasting memories were from that afternoon of fun that just went a little bit too far (usually right after my mom told my dad "you know, you're all having fun and laughing now, but it will go just a little too far and then...") Killing threads since 2004.
  21. I was thinking the same thing. I've seen people that practically live at the gym and eat the "perfect" diet that can't last two days on the job and I've seen dudes that are 5'5" and 280lbs come out and walk all over 'em. Always get a kick out of seeing that. I'm pretty good about keeping up with the routine exams, etc. No problems with blood pressure or cholesterol. I work out 4 to 5 days a week (thankfully I get paid for an hour a day of PT at work) and consider myself to be in pretty good shape, though I'm sure I probably fall 20 or so pounds over the standard weight for my height. My workouts are based almost entirely around endurance training. As a result I'm not the guy lifting the most and I'm not the guy with the tightest abs, but I AM the guy that can go bust ass for 16 hours a day for 14 days straight and be ready to take a couple days off and do it again. 22. Wish I had a good suggestion for you. I finally got fed up with it and moved back south! I'm dreading winter this year too. With how mild summer was we'll probably be in for a doozy, like three or four frosts instead of just one or two. Good luck staying warm. Sounds like it might be time to pick up a winter "bed warmer" as some friends (male and female) used to call the "significant others" they would date for the winter and then drop like a hot rock as soon as spring came around. Killing threads since 2004.
  23. I don't know, I'd say that has loads of living room fun written all over it. Kid might even grown up with a permanent lump or divot on his head to always remember it by. I know I've got a few! Killing threads since 2004.
  24. Hehe...despise would be a strong word for me, but I certainly get a good laugh at some of the folks that show up. Killing threads since 2004.
