If you have "loads" of debt, you really don't have that "extra" money either. Sounds like some budgeting needs to be done. No doubt you need to keep yourself sane, as does she. Budget some cash you can use to occasionally treat yourselves, but assuming you are paying interest on your debt, consider how much more expensive every purchase you make really is when you could have used it to pay down the debt. Dammit I wish I could follow my own advice. Killing threads since 2004.

Thank you. I'm glad there is at least one other person on the plant that has thought this one through. Killing threads since 2004.

Hmm...the only thing on the schedule for sure is a cruise with my family next Christmas. Really hope to get off the continent at some point this year, but we'll see. Killing threads since 2004.

I can't go quite that far, but I will say GO SEC! I just hope it's a good game. While I've enjoyed seeing the SEC win the last couple years, I'd like to get down to the 4th quarter with a game still in progress. Sorry Jean, I'd be a little more specific in my cheer but I'm afraid someone in my family would see it and ban me from ever stepping foot in their homes again! Killing threads since 2004.

That sounds pretty f-ing good. I could definitely go for a plate of those. [drooly face]

I am far from being a chef. In fact, I'm a pretty bad cool in general, but there is one dish I make that I love. Mom called them Burger Bundles. Flatten out a small handful of ground meat, about 1/4" thick or so. Place a blob of stuffing in the middle and wrap the meat up around it into a ball. Cover the "bundles" in Golden Mushroom soup and cook at 350 for an hour. Serve over egg noodles. It's a heavy meal, but OH so delicious, especially on a cold day (for those of you living in a place that has cold days ). Haven't tried making it with ground deer yet, but will have to try it soon. So, uh what kind of bribe does it take to get put on the list after Freefallfreak?

Yup, though I'm allergic to pretty much everything it is possible to be allergic too. Oh, except poison ivy. Go figure. I don't tempt that one though, don't need to develop an allergy! Killing threads since 2004.

After that game I should would like to see Utah play a few other top ranked teams to see where they pan out. They certainly handed Alabama their asses. I like the comment that was made at halftime. Alabama was thinking about the national championship game. Utah was thinking about the Sugar Bowl. It showed tonight. Killing threads since 2004.

Holy hell. I've lived in some pretty cold places, but that's just obscene. Puts a little perspective on my bitching that my seat heater quit while it was below 60F last week. Killing threads since 2004.

While I always pull for the SEC in general, I don't really care all that much. I just wanted to see a good game! Alabama still has PLENTY of time, but it's certainly looking now like Florida knocked the wind out of them and they never got it back. Killing threads since 2004.

So far just watching Alabama get destroyed in the Sugar Bowl while procrastinating cleaning my apartment that is currently in a state of complete destruction. I have friends coming through town tomorrow and am hoping the motivation to start cleaning will ramp up sometime soon. Killing threads since 2004.

Damn! I've only ever seen repeats that get recorded as an occasional "Tivo Suggestion." Always enjoyed it, but never made a point of watching. I might have to start watching the new episodes!

...is going on with Alabama? Have they been sitting on the beach for the last few weeks instead of getting ready for this game? Killing threads since 2004.

Reasons to 'comp' an alcoholic beverage - please discuss.

Ha. I win. Thank you. So what was the other person suggesting the reason for the free drink was? Killing threads since 2004. -

What was the situation? Sitting at the bar? Having dinner? At a bar at Ruth's Chris Steak House - ordering food to go... had already given the bar tender a 15% tip on the food. What are the chances that you would remember him the next time and make the tip 20%? Pretty low. I was hoping someone in the restaurant industry might chime in about that. Has anyone experienced that? I tip pretty well on comped drinks. When I lived in NYC and frequented bars more often, I would typically tip an extra $2 or 3 per free drink. If the full price drinks cost $10 or 12 than it's a bargain for me. Most of the bartenders at places I frequented knew they would go home with more in their pocket if they hooked me up once in a while. Killing threads since 2004. -
Have I mentioned lately just HOW MUCH YOU SUCK??? Ended up making some Thai stir-fry instead. I'll let the backstrap thaw and have it tomorrow. Killing threads since 2004.

So how did you start 2009? I started off slowly as I wasn't feeling well (flu like, not hungover) but I took my motorcycle out for a couple hundred miles and I was a whole new person when I got back (though my tailbone was a bit sore). My 94 Honda has had every bit of comfort well worn out of it, but it was still a good way to spend the first day of 2009! Killing threads since 2004.

hehe...well a large portion of this one will end up being given away (or more likely, brought to cook outs). I was bummed about having to drop this one at a processor, but in the end I'm psyched. Had a pile of it turned into dried sausage that is pretty tasty. The cost was obscene though compared to just buying the supplies to stuff sausage on my own. I think I may just start the New Year off w/ a big ole backstrap on the grill tonight. Killing threads since 2004.

I typically process my own deer and package the results using my vacuum sealer. Due to some unexpected travel that came about the same day I got my last deer I ended up taking it to a processor that packaged everything in butcher paper. My question for y'all...the meat from this deer is probably going to be in the freezer for a while, some probably up to 6 or 8 months. Is it worth repackaging it with the vacuum sealer or will the butcher paper suffice? Thanks! jason Killing threads since 2004.

My plan is only slightly more ambitious. Around midday I plan on watching Georgia stomp Michigan State. And then around 1700 I plan on watching the Bearcats (my alma mater) win their first BCS game. Killing threads since 2004.

Ok, it's clear that GatosKitten is taking the picture and Gatos is just practicing solo skills! hehe...that's just fine as long as Gato keeps at least one hand free for posting said pics!
