it sounds more like you are afraid of the truth. you'll lie to cover your own ass, but you don't want to hurt someones feelings, even if it's good for them?? how did you not hurt another being as an A-10 pilot? or did you lie about being sick when you had to actually do your job? it seems to me like it's a big deal to you. especially after reading your many other posts... you should know better, you can't use "over" and "out" in the same line. are you a man or a woman? at least give us that... it seems many are confused as to your identity. not that i think it's all that important... but i have a mojo 220 and a 280. but the mesh doesn't mean shit at 300ft.

i was hoping someone else might point that out. there's a big difference in 20ft... it's the last few feet that matter the most.

...in that case... what makes you most happy, is best for you... but not necessarily for anyone else... if that makes sense. my backyard playground is great... but the TRAVEL to other and new objects is more than half the fun. good luck.

jump someone else's gear and buy what you can fly. i'm around 190 and i jump 260-280. on most jumps i still prefer my ACE 260. if you can't land it, buy body armor.

Nick, you've really stirred up a hornet's nest with this one! for the record, i voted it's a non-issue... i find myself addicted to reading the "gossip" here, just as (for an example) is posted in this very thread. if i am without internet access however, i don't freak out about what important information i'm missing. as i'm unwinding, or often killing time at "work", i simply enjoy perusing what is often very entertaining nonsense. if everything needed to be serious and constructive, they wouldn't make comedies. live and let live. i've always said that the hardest thing in life is to simply be a good person. but this is the internet, and it is a mask for identity, both good and bad. WTF was i just talking about.... too many Feldschlossens... p.s. Lauterbrunnen sucks... i HAD to make another jump in the rain today. ~E

if the thing gives you a voltage reading at every start up, what's the problem? if they burn out early, then replace them again... no? maybe i'm missing something...

ditto. mine cost about 30cents for a switch i soldered onto an old handsfree cell phone headset 2.5mm plug and wire.

i wear 'em 'cuz i like 'em for all those reasons... but more so, they're cheap. and after i lost one on exit... i bought a couple more pair for less than 10 bucks on ebay. so i have some in reserve. -
my vote is for the Xaos line... 21 if you're going to be doing a lot of "working" jumps... but the 27 performs better and is a much more fun wing to fly. the 27 opens just as well as the 21, but it packs slightly different (to minimize the "searching") and is considerably more bulky. nicest opening X's out there IMO.

uh, i'm not a "fan" or anything... but i thought at a purely primitive level, that it was a great jump and an even greater little clip. smells like Hatorade up in the be-0tch!

because there are others that are similar or better while also being cheaper. i load my rmax118 at around 1.8 and it flies wonderfully. also, that's not from demo flights... a 96' xbrace to 118' reserve reality. i would only vote for rmax because i know it's good, but i haven't jumped a smart yet and they seem just as good.
