yes, they do have a minimum order of $25 (at least for online ordering). but i think if you need them enough, buying a few extras would never hurt. the stainless minis are under $5 a piece.

i believe it is one of those things that is very hard for people like us to do without convincing or instruction. even though you know there is a chance of death, the big picture in your mind says YOU will be fine for fear of ending your life against YOUR terms... which, of course, is very unlikely unless you're specifically suicidal. i have strolled in many places where my chance of death is much, much higher than that of a parachuting accident... where i've been specifically instructed to arrange such documents, but yet still declined. maybe it was due to a feeling of superstition. i'm not sure. in any effect, it is a reality check. do what is right for you and your family.

well there are some differences amongst tools. one could be a very sophisticated machine, or could be the simplest of all tools... the wedge. take your pick.

my gargoyle is packed, so i don't have a picture.. but it is simply a 4 or 5 inch piece of nylon tape with a snap sewn on the riser just below the link. also, depending on when the risers were made... some have the snap loop on both front risers. personally, i don't care for them. i'd rather just do the below the bumper trick because i can get the slider to fold neater. the snap loop holds the grommets at a weird angle. if no one else does, i'll post a pic tomorrow after i jump that rig.

i have and use both setups regularly. the only thing you really NEED to do is a gear check @ the exit point. if you're slider off and worried about a riser release and not jumping over moving water, put a SLINK through your 3 rings. just my $0.00000001

i like the idea of it... but do you really think it's going to do much good? i mean, it's cheap enough i guess... but what kind of protection is it really going to offer? why not just build or buy a dbox? a condom is not going to protect your lense mount on a hard opening or impact. just some thoughts.

"the people" are lemmings. when one person makes a point to bash someone like this judge, many are quick to follow suit. there could be some new laws, but for the most part i doubt it will happen unless more people are caught there in a high profile. stereotypes and generalizations are what could make or break us. remember when bikers were all hell's angels and bad men. now they're everyone including dentists and bakers. maybe if people understand it's legitimacy by seeing average to outstanding people of society involved... it could help skew a general opinion. although, there are a lot of us out there that are just law-breaking junkies. just a ramble.

just a note... public health investigations make a huge difference when compared to direct exposure. if anyone actually thinks it's healthy to stand in front of any emitter pushing wattage starting with a K, by all means give it a little kiss before you huck.

dude, you know that just picking the right colors are all that matter. flying and landing it is easy. as long as you look "so good", everything else will come naturally. i mean, it's probably safer than golfing.
