  4. Hmm I thought that disassebling/assebling of 3 rings easier than packing) One may know how to pack but cannot do it himself I can't imagine that some one whoo know how to proper assemble 3 ring couldn't do it And if he don't know this how he can check whether it ok o not during checkup before jump? Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?
  5. Hm-m, from time to time I wanted to flex my 3ring but... it always was first load call, next jump, fellow skidiver's car to home and so on... Reading this thread I remembered that almost 4 mounth passed from reserve repack, then today was a rainy day at my DZ so I finally did it!:) After 4 month and ~120 jumps there was not much dirt on cables and it was easy to clean it. It seems to me that there was no much "memory" on riseres too...so I dont know if 4 mounth without maintenace would cause problem during chopping But, it takes only few minutes and not difficult at all so I planing to do it every 30 days from this moment. 7. It is possible, at least in case of Hop and pop deployment There is a kind of fun jump "kaplya" (drop) on russian when two jumpers leaving the plane then first deploy his main (usually round) while second jumper hang on his harness, so they are both descents under one canopy for a while... 8. IMHO the most important thing - is the gloves, the thin windstopper gloves over thin woollen works just perfect for me (at -15°C on the ground). Next thing is the foggy promblem the visor of your fullface helmet can get total foggy and make you blind (try to put the soft inside material over your nose - it can catch extra moisture), the googles less affected by fog. Other clothes...with jumpsuit can be various as it was mentioned above thermal layers from polypropylene works just fine. Just my 20 kopeek:) be safe have fun Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?
  9. What type/size of PC is recomended by manufacturer of your container? Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

  12. What will happen if there will be delay of unstowing of one line group relative to other (say left group leave his second stows a bit earlier than the right group leave his second stows)? Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?
  13. It can be mounted on the goggle's bridle Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?
  14. Can you show your rig to expirienced rigger? that's would be best IMHO... Also you can try to pull the kill line directly (hold tension on the bridle and pull the kill line instead of PC's hackey). Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?
  15. Jumpsuit's Bootes saved the friend's shoe during one jump:) Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

  21. manufacturing date would also be forged ??? Adding a 2 on the label is easy. Changing the year of manufacturing might be more visible... I Wouldn't be able to tell the difference in design. Agree, (if only somebody didn't replace the whole label) Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?
  22. The side label show "Crossfire" on it, the warning label actually indicated crossfire2 but some guys here think that label can be forged... Check the serial# with Icarus - good Idea, but I wondering if there is some sign in design of the canopy which allow to determine the xfire2? Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?
  23. Hi everyone, I need some help related to canopy identification There is a Crossfire which was claimed as Crossfire2 but there is no "Crossfire2" caption on it. How can I determine that it is actually xfire2? any advise? Thanks in advance... Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?
  24. Yeah, parachute and metal AAD defenetly were:) imagine how long was his descent after the right guy pull his reserve:) I think I still saw him above the trees when going to the next load:) to 78RATS, I wondering what happening when you descent in inflatable boat? I want to try it but a liitle bit worried to be catched/wrapped in it:) Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?
  25. So, my friend... Did your stuffed animal AFF level 1 pull his own main, did you pull it, or did the AAD save it's life??? Did you saw his eyes? he was adrenaline overdosed and failed first level (not pull). Instructor did his job (and it was damn tricky)... student was found in the forest only twoor three weeks later Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?
