This close to what I've heard from few guys about fullface helmet's problems, never heard/noticed the same about googles... Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

Yep you have it right, espetially about the clouds (at 500m It's very interesting what you will see after you will get out from the cloud: forest or field or may be even home LZ) Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

I am not quite sure what exacltly "tube scarf" is... On photo - simple mask, it's designed similar to balaclava mask but material just thin woolen knitted fabric, I used it only couple of times when it was really cold at the ground (-15°C -17°C) and it works just fine (wich actually amazing for me since this mask very light and blowing through very easily) Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

There were some fogging issues in the plane and after deployment, antifog helps a little bit, but since during freefall goggles were clear (however some of my friend have some issues with their fullface helmets during freefall) I just put 'em over my helmet in plane (forgot to put 'em back few times) and after deployment... Once when I applyed an antifog on to my googles they become foggy just a little bit after deployment so I didn't take 'em off but on my approach they become really foggy (only thin bottom zone was relatively clear) barely seeing the ground I making a flare, stoping the canopy, plant my feet on the groung...but there wasn't a ground there was ~1m more to it. So now I always take googles off under canopy... Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

Well I can agree at about -15°C at altitude (and plus on a ground) it's not a big deal, but when it's -10 -15 at groung and about -30 at altitude I find out that I defenetly need good gloves more than everything else to be comfortable

IMHO the most important for subzero jumps is a proper gloves (until I bought ones with windstopper(tm) and put thin woolen gloves under my fingers were stuck ufter frefall and it was not easy to grab the toggles) which should be thin and keep the warm at the same time Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

Wasn't dificult at all:) 200 rubles / ~10 min on taxi to DZ and back on fellow skydiver's car:) edit to add: Sorry, forgot the main questions: didn't saw bunkhouse there but was in hotel at Kolomna and was quite staticfied so at now vote for hotel, but planing to see the bunkhouse and may be stay in it... Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

Oh it was cheetah I beg pardon So you didn't find the freebag...that's pity, but there is still a chance find it, when I was at Aerograd Kolomna few weeks ago some guy had to bougth a case of beer...cause he find his main choped three weeks (or mounth? I do not sure) ago!. Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

Now I know why many of experienced guy's jump UHP canopy - it just more safe to fly a velosity (if you can drive it) so such idiots just can't pursue you Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

Hi Will, If I am right - it was you in 1st load with funny guy in leopard suit (FF 2 way - just before us) Congrats on you succesful first cut-away;) glad everything works out good... Regarding possible reason of your mal: If I understood you right (my english is still poor) than you did cocked your PC AFTER you did insert your closing pin? Exactly this thing bring my PC in tow few jumps ago... Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

But it's works sometimes:) PC also can be uncocked or be too small and didn't provide enough force and in this case even hit the bridle can help pin to get out... If you pull out at proper altitude way not to try to recognize and fix mal for 1-2 sec? Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

...look back - define the mal: PC in burble - change position PC in tow - pull/hit the bridle...all untill hard deck then red/silver. WL = your exit weight in lbs (you and all yours stuff ) / your canopy area in sq.feet usually exit weight can be calculated as your weigt plus ~22 lbs So if 220 lbs is your own weight and your canopy is 170th, than your WL 220+22/170 = ~ 1.42...hmm (IMHO ) also see: http://www.dropzone.com/safety/tools/calculator_wing_load.shtml P.S. what exactly canopy you are going to buy? So why not to do the same for PC in tow mal? When your rig is still has a normal shape it is easier (but as I find out recently - not easy) to do something IMHO... Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?
