Round reserve on object is a good Idea if you are going to drop them above the living area:) so we did even more, install an mech-AAD on the reserve:) Regarding to cat's we prefer to threat them this way (see "barsik" pic) :) Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

I had some issues with my bodi position at deployment when I started jumping in my RW suit with booties. Actually I didn't noticed it by myself cause I started to packing myself at the same time so when the canopy after inflation did some tilt and going to right dive i just fixing it with rears and claimed my packjob...But one day instructor told me - he saw that I pulled keeping significant forwarg movement after tracking... Just my 20 kopeek:) Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

Agree with JohnRich, you definitely should get the cheetah colored canopy (plush?)! Oh yeah! and the custom made helmet too P.S. Panteras rocks!!! Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

Agree, it's quicker, but IMO less comfortable (see the Skip's post) so if I'll be able to stow toggle acceptable fast - I'll prefer to proceed with both togles stowed... Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

If only one toggle is locked is it reasonable to try to stowing other toggle back and get your canopy in simmetrical 1/2 brakes configuration? (it seems this - what I should try to in my next jump:)) Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

Really cool DZ, good Aircrafts - L410 & An28(Tail gate - rulezz), a nice place near to Volga river and Hotel just at the LZ - just great (it's so cool just take the canopy on your shoulder after the landing and go to the hotel with shower/cafe and came back on tomorrow after breakfest same way)!

Hi! had read this thread and was interested "what would happen if..." so here one who just tryed your idea Result: Smothly pulled both risers at the same time on about 15-20 cm (didn't looked on canopy and didn't played with this nuch time because of traffic) - almost nothing happend

Wow! it sounds like you learning to fly yourself and have no instructor Cool Actually these question should be adressed to your instructor first, espetially this one: regarding: Well may be without radio? when landing will be completly on your plan from opening to flare you'll make it better I was confused with radio and my first good landing was on my 3rd jump when I was landed about 1.5 km out from DZ and had to plan pattern and flare myself

Yep it's a very good article, but IMO thread should be more simple like: 1. Discuss this (and all advises given here) with your instructor and S&TA. 2. some imputs about WL (or link to some good article). 3. link to article you specified. Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

May be but exactly that lens in "selfmaded" helmet works just fine, the problems has guy with the original helmet:) Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

I started with 220th:) Again, I don't know much but IMHO there always is a "golden medium" I meant it wouldn't be easy for me at my first jumps (and it would be 2.4) Just a little bit... seriously It wasn't my primary objective to be cool on first jumps and 220 isn't too small:) Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?

Yes I saw these articles... That's the point! It was easy to land the 220th Nav softly when I had no experience at all andcan't flairing correctly the bigger Navigators just because of lack of skills. Certanly it can be just with me but guys who was on AFF prog with me fill the same (and we always concidered as luck if can get the rig with 220th on jump :) ) Again it's just IMHO but It was more difficult to me to make flare in time on 260th than 220. Heh, It wasn't my student canopy, so I can't say much but I doubt that it would be easy to flare this stiletto loaded at 2.4

Can only agree with advise related to breath since the guy who landed with frozed lens was in original Z1 another guy (who argued with him about fullfase's pros/cons) was in "local version" of Z1 (but with lens from the original Z1) and didn't have such troubles... Haven't enough experience to argue, but during my AFF it was a much more diffcult to me to make a good flare / soft landing on 260, 280 Navigators than on 220th Navigator (which flared just fine), untill I got some "skills" and can landing soft all these canopy... Edit to add: When I discussed this with my Instructor He told me that it's a matter of WL and higher airspeed gives me more confident flare/landing Why drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly?
