Funny I travel all the time and the only place I ever get harassed is Portland, ME. I don't mean when I am travelling with my rig. I just get harassed there all the time. The TSA agents are insane there. I think it has something to do with the fact that the 9/11 hijackers went through security there. Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

I disagree with that statement. I think it looks that way now because the situation dictates it. I think that opposition to the party in power is always more vocal and passionate about what is going on. Being in opposition breeds anger and fear which causes people to speak up. It is easy to stay quiet when you are the party in power and things are going the way you would like them to go. Lets face it, who were the vocal ones during the Clinton years? If you think back, you will find that during the Clinton administration, the right wingers were just as resolute and unwavering in their hatred for him as the left wing is towards Bush now. Either way, I don't think that would affect the polls. If that were the case, then the public polls would show the same result. So I still think the large swing from public opinion must be coming from the non-Americans. Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

Just curious, do you think the higher than average negative rating comes from the non-Americans on dz.com? Since I don't think there are many outside of the US that approve of Bush's performance, but they are not called in the public polls. Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

Hey Kris, Pho-Queun (sp?) on Dale Mabry isn't bad. Laura and I go there every once in a while. I am not a big Pho person. I do like their other stuff quite a bit. Lauar is into Pho and says it is good. Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

Happy Birthday. I feel you should treat yourself to a new watch. It is the least you can do for yourself. -OK Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

Pavel Bure the used to play for Vancouver then went to the Rangers for a short stint. Now I believe plays for FL. There is also his brother Valerie Bure in the NHL as well. Are you a new daddy yet? Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

I would check fist, but I am thinking that the higher end titanium watches use titanium pins as well. Check out the Breitling Avenger. It is all titanium and I would bet the pins are as well. -OK Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

See, I would agree with the black goes with everything comment if it were my only watch. Since I have other watches that go with everything, I was thinking of being a little different and getting the orange. It is too tough to decide, I really think I need both Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

The speedmaster is a gorgeous watch. I am partial to the seamaster, but the speedmaster rocks. Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

Then maybe you can help me decide between orange or black. These are actually not the Militaire, they are the chronoscopia but they are very similar and I can't find pictures of the other. Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

If you're looking for RW coaching at SVO, check out www.tunnelcoach.com. RW coaching is provided by Sally Hathaway, who's won 2 golds and a bronze medal at the last 3 World Meets as a member of Synchronicity. Sally's also the most experienced and senior AFF instructor we have at Skydive City in Zhills. If you or your team needs coaching, she's a great choice. You can't beat someone who teaches skydiving for a full-time living IMHO. Rates & schedule can be found on the website, but generally, you're looking at $205.00 for 15 minutes of flight time, including one on one coaching, pre & post debrief, etc etc. Contact Sally@tunnelcoach.com or Martin@tunnelcoach.com for more info & prices. It works better than ambien and it costs about $5 for a bottle of 120 of them. It is non habit forming and doesn't have any long term negative effects. What more can you ask for. Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

I used to take Ambien all the time. I travel a lot for work and often have trouble sleeping in hotels. I would take ambien when I had it or tylenol PM when nothing else was available. A pharmacist friend yelled at me for taking either and told me that both would cause various problems if taken long term. She suggested I take Melatonin. It is sold over the counter at just about any drug store. It is dirt cheap and works better than anything else I have taken. She and all other research I have found shows no long term problems with taking it. Supposedly it is the same chemical that your body produces naturally when you are sleeping, so taking some in pill form just gives you a little jump start. I take 3Mg about 15 minutes before bed and I am out like a light. -OK Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

I know of several people who switched to dacron lines on their canopies after having neck surgery including my girlfriend who is a rigger and AFF instructor. All of them pretty much agree that the dacron lines absorb a great deal of the opening shock and provides substantially softer openings. A great person to talk to about this is Tony Hathaway. If I remember correctly, Tony has over 5000 jumps on Spectres. A few years ago he switched to dacron to help protect his neck from damage. Tony usually jumps with quite a bit of camera gear on his head. He swears by the dacron. He has thousand of jumps with and without the dacron and will gladly tell everyone that the dacron makes a huge difference. He is on DZ.com, so if you want more info, ask him. A few months ago I was looking at a friends neptune in a carpeted rigging loft. I accidentally dropped it from about hip height. It landed on the carpeted floor and the case cracked. I couldn't believe it. Sorry, but I don't want to skydive with anything that breaks that easily. I will wait for L&B to come out with their new products. I have had a pro-track for years and never had any problems with it. Also, L&B's customer service is the best I have ever dealt with in any industry. -OK Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

Be careful, don't be too friendly. I had an armadillo start showing up around my house last year. He decided he like it so much he would move in. He dug a huge hole all the way under the foundation of my house. It became a nightmare to deal with. He later started digging little holes all over my yard every night. I finally had to flood him out of the hole and fill it with mothballs to keep him out. If you want to get rid of him, they are very sensitive to smell. Spreading mothballs or cayenne pepper or something like that will drive them away. -OK Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

Hey Ankie, A couple of years ago I was looking at the Kawasaki Ninja 250 for Laura. It is a sweet little bike. Given your size and weight, it would be fun to ride and you can probably get all the speed you want out of it. It should be able to do around 90 on the highway as long as you are riding solo. They aren't very expensive and you can pick up a used one fairly cheap. I also looked at the Honda, but you would have a lot more fun on the ninja. -OK Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

Funny, Laura and I always say that our neighbors hate us. They think we are drug dealers and I am pretty sure they tell their kids to stay away from our house. We live in a very snooty upscale gated community. On the weekends we are at the dz while they work on their yards and such. We both work from home when not traveling, so they never see us go to work. Most of our friends are skydivers. The come over during the week and hang out til all hours of the night, since the DZ is closed on Tue and Wed. Most of them drive beat up cars. We don't have kids and don't participate in the "community activities" we are never invited to any of the block parties or anything like that. The kids don't even ring our bell on Halloween which means we end up having to eat all of the candy ourselves. Oh well, screw em! Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

I got my last Wings container in 2 days from the time I ordered it and that included custom tye-dye. I couldn't believe they made me wait 2 whole days but what can you do. Some people just don't know what good service is Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

Try this stuff http://drug-store-china.com/women/999/ it is absolutely amazing. Laura is extremely allergic to bug bites. A small mosquito bite will cause her entire arm or leg to swell up. Since we have discovered this stuff she has never had a problem again. A little of this cream and the swelling and itch goes away. I had a huge spider bite that swelled up and was itching and hurting. It worked on that too. -OK Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

Finally someone gets it. There is so much more to cycling than sitting down and pushing pedals. On one of the Alpine descents, Oscar Perrera (sp?) was pushing so hard to keep his lead he ended up riding off the road onto the side of the mountain at somewhere around 55 Kph. Luckily he was able to stop in time. Many riders have been killed riding off the side of a mountain. People don't think of pro cycling as dangerous. You would not believe how many pro cyclists are killed in crashes. Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana
