    Actually, I was surprised when your own DZ z-hills did this last year. The prices were raised when fuel prices went up and when they dropped back down, TK dropped prices back down. I thought it was a pretty cool thing to do. Of course they raised them again a few months later when fuel prices started to soar again. -OK Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

    As someone who can pretty much quote every episode of Sports Night and West Wing word for word, I agree with you to some extent. I actually thought the casting was perfect as usual for Sorkin. I even liked Amanda Peet. I do think the dialogue was a little "toned down" by Sorkin standards, but I also think there was quite a bit of potential. I liked it, but you are right, I didn't love it. I had no problem getting past the Chandler thing with Perry. I thought he was fantastic in the 2 West Wing episodes he was in, so I didn't hold "Friends" against him. I also thought Steven Webber's role couldn't have been cast better, and Brad Witford, well what can you say, its Josh! Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

Well Im guessing you just got bogged down since yesterday. but look at it this way; at least you'll have music to listen to while your internet freezes up I don't live on the DZ, so I don't really care. But, it is me that everyone else is going to call complaining when that Katie chick kills the pipe.     I can't say for sure yet, but I don't think this will be a problem this year. TK and Joannie are hard at work making sure that there is MORE than sufficient lift power this year. The last 2 years we were caught by surprise at just how many people showed up for the boogie. The year before last we had about 400 people show up. Last year we had almost 700 people show up and we never expected that many. We will not make the same mistake again! Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

    At Z-hills we do a pumpkin drop competition every year on Halloween. We all jump with small pumpkins and from under canopy we drop them as close to a target as we can. Closest to the target wins. Usually there are jump tickets for the winner. In order to keep it fair, we make the target pretty far away from the main landing area and in order for your drop to count, you must land in the main LA. That keeps people from flying low and dropping it. -OK Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

    I remember sitting next to him in the plane one day. It was a quiet ride to altitude for some reason. All of the sudden out of nowhere he screams out "Where are we going, and what are we doing in this handbasket". I just about threw up I was laughing so hard. He used to love to play the video of his crw wrap at the bar. When newbies watched it he would just stand silently behind them. When the said something about how scary it was to watch he would reply something like "you should have been there, it was pretty scary" they would freak when they realized that the person on the video did not die and in fact was standing right behind them.     Wet Reserves

    We had a case at z-hills a number of years ago where someone had splashed in the pond a few times getting their rig pretty soaked. He did not open the reserve and get it repacked. After about a year, he brought the rig into the loft for a repack and when it was opened the reserve came out like a brick. All the fabric was hard and stuck together. Several very experienced riggers looked at it and nobody was sure if it would have eventually opened or not. Granted, that was a case of leaving a repeatedly soaked rig packed in the container for over a year, but just something to keep in mind. Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana

    I have to agree with Ron here. I have 2000 jumps and all except about 50 are with a D ring. I switched to a pillow handle for a short time and never felt comfortable with it. I have 8 reserve rides and can say that on at least a few of them, I was very happy to be able to get my thumb through the ring and pull. I don't think there is anything wrong with pillow handles, I just didn't feel comfortable with it. I have the low profile D ring handles on both my rigs and have never gotten snagged on anything. Pay attention to your gear and what it touches and you should never have a problem. Time flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana
