  1. I jumped one of the prototypes a while back and was pretty impressed. It looks a lot like the Z-1, but has a velcro strap tightening mechanism similar to the Oxygen. I currently jump a Z-1 and have had nothing but problems with the customer service. The US dealer was more helpful, but only after I tried to reach parasport for months. The headfirst customer service was awesome. I emailed and got responses right away. Nick wanted me to put a few jumps on the proto and let him know what I thought. I made a few comments which were supposedly incorporated into the newest proto that I should be receiving shortly. The one I jumped needed a bit of finishing work, but I assume that was just because it wasn't the final version All in all I liked the helmet a lot. As far as it being legal, I don't know and I don't care. If the people at parasport don't want to support their customers, then someone else will. -OK
  2. What I generally do is tell the lower experienced jumpers that they should try to show up at the DZ early. Throughout the day, my organized loads generally grow to the point where more experience is required. Anyone who needs a little more attention or just wants to work on certain skills can come before the group gets too big and we can work on whatever they want. It is important to explain to them early that at some point during the day when the group gets too large that they may be asked to step down. That way, they are not upset when you tell them that it is time. Giving them a chance to jump on the smaller loads helps give them the confidence that they need to stick around as the group grows. And it is a cool thing for me to watch my early morning newbies become my late afternoon big way jumpers. Just a though, but it works for me. -Oren
