That's a Ukranian brand. Their website.

...and cold. edit: 'twardo's got it right.

It's obviously not my real name. Click on my profile if you're interested. Because if you believe it's a docile wing then either you're not flying it properly or you'll be competing in the PST next year. And given you've less than six months in the sport and under 200 jumps I know which one I'd be putting my money on. You came on an internet messageboard soliciting advice. Please don't complain when you get it. Oh, and from the Big Air Sportz Owner's Manual, p12:

Much better. Myself, I'd go a tiny bit smaller still, but that's just personal taste. Two reasons: I can't CTRL+click to open the link in a new tab. Because I can't tell where the link goes without following it. I run with a lot of tabs open, and not being able to pop a specific page open in a new one drives me nuts. I know html is a little more work, but it makes for a significantly more pleasant browsing experience.

I always knew you loved me.

Unless you're dating yourself that won't be a problem.

Australia, 2.5 years ago. I'm still here.

Be aware that the Sabre and Sabre2 are different beasties, and that the resale on a Sabre2 is much higher than on an original Sabre. The Sabre2, Pilot, and Safire2 are all canopies that, when loaded at about 1.0, are regularly recommended for jumpers buying their first set of gear.

Then you're not flying it properly. Get some coaching from a pro and they'll show you what you can do when you start pushing it to its limits. For the record, Brian only recommends the Samurai for those with at least 300 jumps. It's a very high performance canopy.

That's the wrong URL - it's a photographer's personal site. The one you're thinking of is probably http://www.photography-on-the.net.

If you're on a PC, you can hold CTRL, then click to open a link in a new tab.

But was it a Premiere Premier Membership Feature? (sorry, I couldn't resist...)

The graphics at the top (including the menu) should be no more than half their current height. Flash menus are evil, and pretty pointless too. Just my opinion

No. She should get booties. It's similar here - they must have completed a significant number of RW jumps with a coach. Body position changes once you put boosters on. Much better to get used to them early. Inner leg grippers are really handy for cat grips (one person behind the other). Jumping with a big guy a couple of weekends ago, I bust us in a Snowflake - Box (think cut-down Snowflake-Offset) because he had no inside grippers, flies wide, and just didn't have enough material to hold onto . When choosing RW suits, listen to people that have done lots of RW like rehmwa: Get booties, get inside leg grippers.

When you get it, have a look at the care label. You'll crack up.

Nice. Why Scandanavia? Yup, she rocks! Hoping to spend Friday hanging out with her & a bunch of other skydivers at a teammate's BBQ. I'm in Sydney, but also hoping to make Equinox this year...

AFF solo exits - how to make yourself let go?
bob.dino replied to kirrz's topic in Safety and Training
The classic example: don't think about a pink elephant. You can only think about the absence of something by picturing it. So, if you're worried about doing something wrong, picture doing it right. Over and over. And smile, take a big breath, and come play in the sky -
Cargo door (rollup towards the rear), or regular (up near the pilot)?

Got my A licence and first chop!

Seconded. -
You guys use a 182, don't you? I don't have any real experience with one, but I'll let others chime in with that in mind...

You're just pissed you're ranked lower than female tandem passengers . I think the post is funny, but then as a 4-way geek I get ranked up near the top .

It's more like a "lost art." There are still some around who know it. At Picton, Australia over Easter, Wendy Smith provided a masterclass in late diving. She was last out of the lead Otter, would delay a second or two in the door and still kick the arse of about four people ahead of her in the lineup, including me. Inspirational. And kind of humbling.

Sorry for the thread drift, but this is contradictory. You roll the nose to slow the openings, not speed them up. It's also an unnecessary step on most modern parachute designs, as far as I know. It was unnecessary on my Spectre 190. A bog-standard pro-pack does the job nicely.
