Hey Slink, apparently you don't know that Islam is the religion of peace. If you're Islamic and another person disagrees with your views, you kill them, then it's all peaceful again!

I bet that you look just fine as is

Hi Bill, Sorry, it's me again. I remember a Krushev quote quite well "We will bury you!" As in the USSR vs the US. Hey, maybe they will....financially with all those Ruskies over here on welfare and SSI! That's some scary shit down there in Central America in the 80's huh? Wonder why the Sandanistas are no longer in power there? I don't believe much of the stuff I get off the net, same as I don't believe most of the stuff the media and Seann Penn say. We (Americans) are not a terrorist state. We have no designs on world domination. Actually, we did the work and paid for rebuilding Europe and Japan after WW2. We could have taken over the world then Bill.

Remember those really cool pictures of the cruise missles flying down the streets in Bagdad in 91? Yeah, it was Bagdad. Them darn things are accurate to about 10 yards of their target I think. If Saddam puts civilians in military targets, it's his bad, not ours. I would suggest that the folks in Bagdad get hold of U Haul (or their brand movers) and get the hell out I do agree with you Bill that this Iraq deal is a crock as is all of our dealings in the middle east. But I also agree that if their is any evidence that Saddam had anything to do with the evnents of Sept 11th or aided those involved, they're fair game. Of course, it would be nice to see the evidence first. Mike

Had a very pretty lady rigger/pilot/jumpmaster/do whatever Ralph says to do at Estacada Oregon. Frances, where are you?!? FM

Step away from the bong Bill, repeat, step away from the bong Bill, this will be the last post from me on this stuff, honest! I'm not aware of the US supporting cutting any womens throats anywhere. Can you be specific about what you are talking about? The US will survive because we are not seeking "empire" status. Last time I checked we don't have any ambitions on having "the sun never sets on the United States" And as for the benevelent USSR (had they won the cold war), didn't Stalin murder about 10 million of his own citizens? And before you write back and say Stalin didn't do it, I didn't mean it that way, be a lot of fucking reloading to waste 10 million people huh? I do agree with you that the US government isn't "pure". Air America supplied the heroin to us in the Nam to finance their "secret" war in Laos and Cambodia and I'm sure that they have a lot of other cards they aren't showing. However, any of those fucks that were involved in murdering 3,000 Americans for the crime of getting out of bed and going to work, deserve to go see Allah as soon as possible with our assistance. I don't apologize for my views Bill. I support the President (even tho I don't agree with Iraq as a target). And I don't apologize for being an American (not that it matters but my family is back to 1809 in the US). WE will win against ANY of our enimies Bill, anywhere, anytime cause we have people that are willing to defend your right to spout your socialist horseshit. As I did 31 yeas ago. Anyway, that's enuf of this. If you're in the Pacific NW or I'm down in So Cal, maybe we can do a 2 way sometime, we're all skydivers here

welcome to the sport Suzie

Bill, what have you been smoking buddy? You come up with the weirdest shit! You want us to treat other countries like we would like to be treated? The Golden Rule? And you're worried about when we're not on top anymore that the UN will be the only thing between us and doom? We treat other countries much better than we are treated Bill. The gov. sends tons of money and aid all over the planet and doesn't stop even when those same countries shit on us. Of course, if you are a country involved with slitting the throats of women on airliners and flying them into property here in the states, you're toast (as it should be). As for when we are no longer THE superpower, that's not going to happen Bill. The United States will never stoop to any other nation ever. Let me pose a question to you Bill. If the US and USSR had somehow wound up opposite at the end of the cold war, do you suppose the Soviets would observe the "Golden Rule? Perhaps you should head on down to the beach, assume the lotus position and chant to your higher power. Might help keep you from your anti American rants. Mike

No, we don't need anyones blessing to go to war. Anything or anyone that was involved in murdering 3,000 people on Sept 11, 01 are fair game in my opinion. Of course, it would be nice to have some concrete evidence that Iraq was involved, but not necessary.

a Canadian Apology to the United States (hillarious)
MC208B replied to goose491's topic in The Bonfire
are you apologetic for being an American? Or are you an import (before you jump on the we're all imigrants except the Indians, oopppssss...Native Americans bandwagon) recent import? Near as I can tell, our neighbors to the north are by and large a mass of sheeple looking to the government to take care of them and paying through the nose (taxes) to have that happen. Of course, the Canadians that go to Lost Prarie are okay -
hey that wasn't my argument, it was a quote from a previous post. I said fuckem if they can't take a joke!

I think ALL drugs should be leagal, also think that ALL victimless crimes should be legal. Guess I'm going from republican to libertarian, hope they can win someday

2 girls 12 and 23, two boys 14 and 21. All with the same X

I think Dave's right. The US has already righteously pissed off just about everyone. It's probably too late to start acting reasonably. Yeah? Well, like they say, fuckem if they can't take a joke

Hi Dan. What's the WBS Caravan? And any word on why? Mike

I'm scared to! Has nothing to do with Saddam or that jerk in North Korea. Has everything to do with our very own government. Sept 11th, 2001 (hate that 9-11 thing) was probably the darkest moment in our history for Americans, yep, worse than Pearl Harbor since the Japanese were military men attacking military targets. I was all for getting all the payback we can (kill them preferably to capturing them), still am. What I am scared of is what is happening to us in the US in the name of "security". You drive an SUV, you're supporting terrorism. Light up a joint, ditto. Dare to disagree with attacking Saddam, "your papers please". I'm an aircraft mechanic working at PDX and have been rebadged a couple times since Sept 11th, 01 due to ever changing rules to "enhance" security. Port of Portland went along with the "random searches" of vehicles approaching the terminal. Delta Airlines has agreed to run credit checks and run bank accts when you check in. Who knows where this will end! And of course, the Sheeple chant "if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about" HELLO!!!!!! You have everything to worry about!!!!! Mainly, the end of freedom in the land of the free. Now that's some scary shit folks. I'm an in country Vietnam vet, voted for Bush (lesser of two evils I thought at the time) and those jerks that tie up traffic beating on their peace drums or whatever the hell they call them really piss me off, so I'm not a Peace, Love Dub kinda guy at all. Saddam is not a threat to the "free" world, just some payback to Dad. As I said to my co workers when everyone was jumping on the bandwagon in the original Gulf War, if Kuwait was one of the largest exporters of cucumbers, would we be helping free them?!? Shit, I think I'm getting drunk, later all! Mike

44 first jump. Did a lot of hang gliding in my early 20's tho, does that count for anything?!?
-
so, do you smell and lick asses?!?

I bought some really cheap masking tape and Saran wrap, didn't work worth a darn so I shit canned it and stocked up on beer. I too have a gun and a pair of Pugs with attitudes, so with the beer and the Pugs, I'm set
-
I just watched the video on the KIRO? website. As a jumper and pilot, I'm wondering what the pattern altitude is for that jerk crybaby. With those jumpers freefalling through the jerks traffic pattern, must be 4,500 feet?!? Usually 6-800 AGL I thought!

hey, if Rick had an RSL on his rig (the recent plane crash at Estacada) the outcome of that incident would have been much different. RSL's are not for me! Mike
-
Bill, you're obviously up to speed on avionics but I think the post about having the 2 antennas required is far more accurate than yours. True, an AP can do all that you said it can but the only way it can descend all by itself is on a coupled approach (localizer/ILS). Of course if the building is high enough and there are no obstacles, the alt hold and nav functions would work just fine I guess. But hey,we're skydivers here, not terrorists!!! Mike
-
VFR flight plans are for trips of more than 25 nautical miles in length. So, unless you're taking the scenic route to altitude, won't work :)
-
Hi Ann. Hmmmm........only general aviation aircraft good to go right now are those under IFR flight plans. Maybe this repo flight is filed IFR. VFR (jumpships, etc.) might be able to fly Sunday. Mike
-
Slappie, if they are flying this afternoon, probably only ONE ride up and good thing you'll have a rig on! I'm an aircraft mechanic in Portland Oregon and general aviation is still grounded NATIONWIDE until further notice. This does suck but that's the way it is for now.
