  1. follow up question: will psycho packing give faster or slower openings, or about the same?
  2. My Triathalon opens extremely soft every jump. (well, except for 1, but i believe that was an error on my part). Almost too soft, I'm trying to speed up the openings, since they usually take 7-800 feet+ to complete Edit: But I only have about 20 jumps on it, so perhaps wait untill somebody else (who has more jumps on one) can tell you better.
  3. Is that a tube scarf ur wearing? Just wondering how it worked for you? because I, personally, will never wear one on a jump again. Did some winter (-20ish C) jumps, and had my tube scarf blow up over my eyes in freefall. (it was a solo, just had to pull it back down to my neck. and all was good.) I'll stick to my belaclava from now on
  4. (correct me if i'm wrong, but) I believe it's only considered scalping if you sell the tickets the day of the concert. (there may also be a clause on only selling above "retail" cost - not sure of that one)
  5. so, when i buy a rectal thermometer, it's already been up some dude's (or chick's) ass????
  6. Would the choice in technique (brakes, risers, nothing, etc) be any differnt with a 7-cell vs. a nine?
  7. also, when i logged into my online banking today, they had a msg pop up, to let me know that same thing. Security is BAD. Wouldn't suggest using it if you do online banking.
  8. jump I *think* most have gone throught the same thing (i know i have - first 8-or-so jumps scared the living crap out of me) Then, the fear fated into excitment. Waiting for that door to open, not dreading it's opening
  9. :3:0 All hop-and-pops (into snow - fuckin weather) 1 of those was a free jump though . thanks a bunch to Dave, our new pilot who needed training

  11. Yeah, If you put your computer to sleep, it will not-auto update (program needs to be restarted for this to occur). It's meant to be started up each time the computer boots. (I also have that problem, since I usually just hibernate my laptop whne i'm done using it). I'm not exactly sure how to get it to auto-update without stealing too many system resources. I don't know a whole-heck-of-alot about programming, so if any other programmers want to take a crack at it, by all means, use whatever you can/want from my original code. The "0 days" on startup sounds kind of weird. I've never had that problem. I'll try to duplicate. Thanks for the feedback

  16. Sure, not a problem. I don't care about copy-writing. Anybody who wants to make my program better is welcome to it. I'll post it up today, if it'll make people feel better.
