And it freakin' hurt!!! Friday night at the camp-site, I was supervising Ben, wingi and moose putting up the tent (with a beer in my hand). It got a bit boring watching them work, so I decided to wear my sleeping-bag. So, I was walking around the camp-site with my feet sticking out the bottom (where your head normally sticks out) when Ben trips me up and I hit the earth with a whack. Then while I was lying there trapped in my sleeping bag, Ben and moose tried to kick me in the gangoolies!!! - why does this kind of thing always happen to me??? Then that evening in the pub, Ben took MY pen and paper that I got from the bar-maid (she gave it to ME) and then he wouldn't give it back (even after I asked nicely). So I started biting him in the arm to get it back, then he started biting me in the head. The harder I bit his arm, the harder he bit my head, then I thought I was bleeding (but it was only Ben's gob) so I stopped (also because I am more mature than Ben). So now my mom says if Ben ever bites me in the head again then he is not allowed to come and play at my house!!! /s

Emma makes some good points (but stop using difficult words like 'impasse' - head hurts!!!). I'd like to add something as well. In my limited experience it is hardly fair to call skydivers 'one-dimensional'. Yes, skydiving is very important to us, but at the same time it opens our eyes to other challenges and gives us the courage to pursue them. If it wasn't for skydiving there is no way I would have even contemplated trying to run the London marathon. And it is not just physical challenges either, I know some skydivers with really interesting alternative pastimes (for rainy days natch) which they acquired AFTER starting to skydiving. I have just found it opens my mind to so many other paths, paths I hadn't even contemplated venturing down before. "Free your mind and your ass will follow." /s PS and the one thing that does REALLY annoy me is when the same whuffo asks me the same damn question every damn Monday.

I got an email from Ryan Gifford (manager of ActionAir/Flitesuit) today telling me that they have bought Fliteline's assets (ie they have not bought the company itself). They will NOT be continuing to make Fliteline's harness/containers but WILL be honouring obligations to Fliteline System's existing client-base. Hope this helps clear things up a bit. /s
