  1. Hi and welcome to the cuckoo's nest Remi! When did you immigrate from Canada? Where do you skydive in the UK? If you get the chance you should join us at Langar one weekend, turbines (Caravan and Let) going to '13 000 and good organizing for you more experienced RW types! Hope you are enjoying the *summer*! /s
  2. mmmmkay, try it again now (same link) /s PS Gus, when are you and Ric going to be at Langar again, I am keen for some more kamikaze 3-ways. PPS how did your exams go?
  3. download it here! (and this was only his 8th camera jump!) /s
  4. And I have the Pro-Track to prove it!!! nyeeeehahahahahahhahaha /s
  5. Well I won't give you his initials, but he is known to shout "BRILLIANT!!!" on the odd occassion... Man, you should've been there, we had a good laugh. I got Lisa to push me to the bar on Al's wheels at the first pub. I bashed into this girl, she gave me some smart comment, I just jumped up and shouted "I'm cured, kiss me!". Actually, you know what? I had a pretty frickin' great weekend! Dude, you must come along next time! /s PS have we met at Langar? Next time you or your evil twin are there we must have some beers. PPS remind me to tell you about the drinking game we invented...
  6. If it makes you feel any better Sis, my weekend was rained out, but I did manage to spend all my jumping money. 10 of us did a pub crawl of Nottingham - highlights were setting our table-top on fire (with left-over dregs of sambuca) and seeing how high we could stack empty bottles and glasses (till that came to its predictable sad demise). Amazing thing was we never once got hassled by bouncers and the end of the night the bar-man came to say "thank you for being so cool" to us. (he was butt-licking because he recognized one of the tandem masters) I had fun, but still I would rather have been jumping... /s
  7. The Zenmeister is right, the correct expression is "pre-second" - also, it is not a common practice outside the US (but we don't mind if visiting skydivers feel the need to buy us beer after their first jump on the DZ).
  8. I have heard a heck of a lot of conflicting opinions about BOC pouch material. I would be interested to hear what any of you experienced jumpers and/or riggers prefer to stow your PC in and why. Thanks /s
  9. PHWOARRRRRR!!!! That ranks right up there with Sis talking dirty in the Pub! /s
  10. Don't get carried away by all this 'cutaway' bull-shit (you guys take those shit skydiving movies waaay too seriously ), don't be a wanker (in every sense), take her out to dinner, buy her flowers and THEN take her back and shag the hell out of her! /s PS pics would be nice! (but not of your hairy arse!)
  11. I am that guy! Here's a pic of me finishing the London marathon . It was my first ever road race of any length and I made 4 skydives the day before (blah blah shit time blah blah excuses excuses).
  12. moose, you are being a dumbass! At least pretend to listen to her crap while the wind is blowing. Tonight you are going to regret this after a couple of beers when you know you are not going to get any (or take BenW's suggestion and head over to the showers). /s PS say Ben, you seem to be mighty familiar with those showers!!!
  13. All your clips are belong to us!
  14. Then sangiro will be buying beer for his 3000th registered user!!! (that is if you don't count the many different permutations of FFF that got registered)
  15. Why don't you guys who met her or knew her tell us about her? What was she like? What were her likes/dislikes? What did she do for a living? What interests did she have outside of skydiving? Its all fine and well us saying the generic 'condolences to family and friends', but we never knew her. So please tell us about her, tell us why she will be missed. Will
  16. I agree with Anonymous nr.2 - it wasn't a number of little things, it was one big thing. I have never jumped in a large formation, but even to my novice mind the problem here was that the two planes were dangerously positioned when the jumpers disembarked. What other *little* things contributed to this? I feel really sorry for her kids who have to come to terms with this and deal with growing up without a mother. Will
  17. Hey Pammi, sounds like you had a GREEEEAT weekend!!! (at least you didn't get bit on the head and shag a bunny ) /s
