  1. i've bought a rig, which I went and picked up in person, and paid in cash. i've sold a cypres which was prepaid by paypal. i'm not normally about to ship something without being paid first. altough i would settle for escrow. This ad space for sale.
  2. Yeah? Well if I'm ever speaking, I don't care what country this is, out of respect, you better shut your trap or you're going to be removed. I would expect any other speaker to demand attention from the listeners as well. There's some things your mama should've taught you. RESPECT is the key word. This has nothing to do with freedom. 3. There's a time and a place to confont the president. It is not right in the middle of one of his speeches. Freedom of speech does not give you the right to interrupt. When the president, or anyone else, is speaking, it's your time to shut your trap and listen. This ad space for sale.
  4. From the article, she was charged with "unlawful conduct," a misdeamenor which carries a maximum penalty of one year in jail. Spectacular. This ad space for sale.
  5. I don't know you. I don't mean to offend you in any way. I just call things the way I see it. I'm not so stuck up that I think that weight or looks is the only, or even a large, factor in someone's persoinality. Many of those that are stunningly beautiful have their own problems or hangups. No, I don't look away or sneer when a "fattie" walks by. I do judge, though, and that's not changing. It's what makes me more perceptive, and I'm usually right. Not always, I understand, but enough. As I said, I'm just calling this as I see it. Here's what I can't seem to understand, however: If a large amount of obesity is cause by factors other than laziness, why is it that no other country I've been in, which is quite a few, has as large of a number of overweight people? I would bet that that it is because not everybody has a personal vehicle, and has to actually walk or ride a bicycle a fair bit. If there's some other reason why all of the world's fat-causing diseases are overwhelmingly in the US, and now, for what I've heard, Australia, I would like to know about it. This ad space for sale.
  6. apparently we breath more of the oxygen i would think that's caused by a bad heart, which could be helped by exercise. This ad space for sale.
  7. This is simply wrong. rl Does the US happen to have more obesity-causing diseases floating around than other developed countries? Why do we have a much higher percentage of obese people? This ad space for sale.
  8. And if this DOES cause significant weight gain, which I still doubt, why haven't we heard about it? Don't worry; we will. There's just spreading these great new revelations out over time so it's never forgotten that unhealthiness is uncontrollable. This ad space for sale.
  9. I only speak the truth. First of all, I'm not referring to overweight, or underweight people for that matter, people. I'm referring to obese people. People (most, I know there are always exceptions) don't become obese for strictly uncontrollable reason Ifan there's medical or physical issues making it easier to gain weight, then of course, there will be a bit of extra weight. But if these factors are accounted for, not being lazy, then the person won't be overweight. For exaplie, if, even after knowing about the medical/physical disadvantages he has, he continues to eat mcdonalds daily and never excercise, and hence becomes obese, that's laziness, not bad metabolism. It doesn't take three hours day to stay in better shape. Running an hour a day is enough, even an hour every other day would suffice. Of course, some people would have to work a bit harder. That's just how it is. Life wasn't meant to be easy. Myself, I didn't have a problem losing weight, I had a problem gaining weight. I was always grossly underweight. Growing up, I always said it was because I had a high metabolism, which I do. On top of that, I was raised vegetarian, and didn't get nearly enough protein. I had tried to work out, but never put my heart into it. Yeah, I was lazy. It took changing my eating habits and going to the gym even if I didn't want to, and doing this consistently until it became second nature. Yeah, I got in shape. So, yeah, I know there medical/genetic/physical problems, but 99% of those medical problems can be taken care of by eating better and excercising. This ad space for sale.
  10. I think its just leftover tradition from the old days when people actually cared about last words. or possibly, a chance for one to confess and redeem himself before god... This ad space for sale.
  11. I realize there are other factors other than laziness. I realize there are medical factors as well. However, most aren't. They need to get off their ass instead of making up excuses. This ad space for sale.
  12. he must have done more than just missed a few payments. i have about 15000 with sallie mae. i disappeared for three months and went travelling. during this time, i racked up debt, and din't make any payments. when i came back, i didn't have any money to make any more payments. talking to sallie mae, i can return and pay 50 a month, and my interest rate is still at around 2%. sallie mae, and the government loans, are very helpful to people who are sincerely trying to pay off their loans, much unlike credit cards companies who will raise your rates to 29.95% because you missed one payment. i'd be more than willing to bet that this guy is pissed off that he got three degrees and still can't a job. 14. Day after day, I see post after post claiming a business or corporation is making way too much money by screwing over the customer, the little guy. My question: is there anything inherently wrong with this? Should a corporation be indebted to society and aim to better everybody's life, even if it means less profits, or should a corporation be strictly indebted to its investors and attempt to make a profitable return? Or is there a gray area? I have my own opinions on this. I want to hear yours. This ad space for sale.

  18. No, no, no. You -are- dissing the US. How dare there be another place in the world that is also good to live in. We have the greatest country in the world. Greatest. Because it's the land of the free. And the only reason we're so free is because of the all the brave people who call America home. Admit it. Admit we're the greatest. Do it or die, fucker! 24. No I really want to know why you believe an athlete should be responsible for kids emulating him. Your answer was, because kids look up to him. That's not the athlete's problem. That's the parents' problem. This ad space for sale.
  25. You raise your kids to do the right thing, and understand what exactly athletes are, and that just because they do something, it doesn't make it right. No it doesn't. They have absolutely no responsibility to raise your kid. They have absolutely no responsibility to make sure what they do won't be emulated by a kid who wasn't taught by his parents the difference between right and wrong. I take it you're one of those people who would like to blame Marilyn Manson when some kid goes ballistic, and he happens to listen to death metal? This ad space for sale.
