The lousy cocksuckers have been ID'd
matthewcline replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
It came out as a mass e-mail from the US Army a few back. I was desapointed when I heard it. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -
HELP! does anyone know about skydiving in tennessee?
matthewcline replied to imthegerm's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Yep no more "and like your know", it is now "hey y'all listen to this I'm fixen' to tell ya story". I'm a Hawaii Kid who transplanted to Cali who then transplanted all over the states the last 20+ years. It wasn't so much a culture shock but I did get to see some of Jeff Foxworthy's stage material in real life. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -

From Cookeville, Skydive Smokey Mountains is the closest. Turbo Cessna 206 and a 182. Then you have Tullahoma where the famed King Air of Mr. Mullins flys part time and a Cessna 195 on other days. Then Skydive Paris in Paris TN. Cessna 182 and a enclosed packing area. Be carefull you don't fall for the ASC web pages that will claim to be Skydive Pick a city your in and drag you hours from your home. An Instructors first concern is student safety. The GOV stopped the "Free" watch on credit and just said to report any suspicious.... yada, yada, blah, blah, fuck you vetarans and Active Duty from the Federal Gov. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -
Yes 900+ as the T-I and 50+ as the Student. Part of an I/E's job of course. Oh, yeah I did do a Tandem as my first freefall jump. C-141 B Starlifter at 14,000'. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

I can get a canopy to the container in about 2.5 minutes (timed many times). 4 minutes from back to back again. This is with the F-111 type Demonstrator canopy I use on the Demo Team. The small Cross Braced canopy takes me about 7 minutes to put back on. Shipree stuff the ZP. I am able to do it through lots and lots of practice. I do the same technique in a hurry or taking my time, in a hurry I don't talk, talking slows me down, well that and looking at the DZ hotties. An Instructors first concern is student safety. Many years ago I saw Lake Wales had a English group in town and they had a near 300 pounder using the RWS Tandem converted to solo (It is in the Vector II Tandem Manual). The two AFF-I's had on nylon RW suits weight belts and still bowed in half! But they did it all well and the gent graduated by the time we left a month later. It's almost time....World Meet 2006, who's it gonna be?
matthewcline replied to GQ_jumper's topic in Relative Work
The first bear hunt I was on in Alaska there was four of us. One dude walks up to another and asks his 2 mile time, goes to me and does the same, gets to the fourth guy and that dude asks "why?", the fellow says, "I am not the fatest here but faster than you and that is fine by me". Ok, back to the World Meet, is the Omniscore glitch fixed? I know it is free to us lowley RW fans but it is the only way for me to get my fix. They aren't treating this like a crack dealer are they? Gave us our taste and now the real cost is a commin'! An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -
I would of figured you SF fellows stayed out of Ranger school turf, or maybe it was after the phase was scrubbed from the school. Last night we had the PC110 mounted on the camera helmet in night shot mode doing the 800' CE/T/N. It will be a good blooper real, twists, riden' the ruck to impact and the most aweful PLF. Glad it wasn't me, I did the day SF-10A instead. It is good to be in charge sometimes. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

It would be even more fun if you stop off at the butchers shop before pre-jump. The Omniscore thing is addressed in another thread around here some where. General Skydiving Maybe? An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -
I usually look at the web page or the data panel so I spell it right. But it doesn't always work. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

That was common knowledge. Although I do not consider the US or British Forces Terrorists. Just to ensure I do not get fried for the sarcasm. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

Beech Boogie at Mt. Vernon 8/12 *location change*
matthewcline replied to KCSkydivingCtr's topic in Events & Places to Jump
But if they play a little ocean wave sound and put some hot DZ mama's and papa's in the right bathing suits it could work! I hope they all have fun! An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -
Hmm, Desert Phase or Ragnar School? Like Bigun it was #2 and the Army said go, the door was open and the light was green (no spotting for us). Now having near 50 Army Static line night jumps (of my near 200 jumps) and over 100 night skydives, they can get tediuous, but I still make 'em as fun as I can. We had a good 2 CE/T/N Jumps last night, other than the heat and humidity. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

The attempts aren't so despirate. They are there in Iraq, but they came to Iraq after us. The Terrorist camps that where there when we arrived happened to be other Radical Islamic Jihadists. Now Iraq has Al Qeada (some keep confusing them with the Taliban, but they had an uneasy alliance), Hezbala, Irainian, Turkish, Pakistani, Jordanian, Egyption (yep) and Saudi terrorists. Shit what was my point? An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

Yes there is power issues (yes there is a pun there too!), but daily the electrical problems get better. In some cases insurgents keep cutting power to the same locations since they happen to be visible to the media who stays in the green zone never to leave until it is thier turn to head home. The type of violence is horrible but the locations are getting to be fewer, though the ones they use are again very visible. The war (both sides of it) is just as much being fought in the media as actually on the ground. Some of the Iranian Director of information Operatives infiltrtated with the Iranian Special Operations Forces. We can quote Media or Military sources daily and have valid arguments for our side (which ever that is), like Dan, I have had far more Iraqies tell me "Thank You" than "Ameriki go home". The violence and loss of life on all sides sucks, but only time will tell if we "won" or not. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

Performing High performance landings in the main landing area
matthewcline replied to vdschoor's topic in Safety and Training
Phreezone, Only my opinion, but the front along the tent camping area is usually fairly quiet. You know behind where "Casa de Cline" was, over the 4th of July. It would give him 200 meters of seperation easy from the peas. plus he could usethe corn field to the south as his play ground (wind allowing of course) with out others needing to pass through since they will be over the main landing area (mostly). An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -
To late. We have many items that used to be ours in the bad guys hands already. Plus plenty of the "reward" money is going right to funding the same folks the reward was given out to tell on! An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

If true, it is scary. But I don't know if he is hearing voices or just listening to the voices of poor advisors. But making fun of a mans mental facilities does little to advance a discussion. The "voices in his head" argument can be used on both sides of this endeavor. Iran, Bin Laden, the Pope and many others say they are doing Gods will. How do the yknow that? They claim it is written and what was written is his voice and what he commands. Is this argument to be a means to judge ones mental aptitude to lead? If so, Tony Blair is just as insane as Bush, Clinton, Kerry, Bin Laden, Saddam Hitler and any other leader who has a belief. So now I do not give that argument much weight. The poor advice is a better argument in my opinion. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
