I know, I just find it funny that a cat who is so meticulous about using a clean litter box will hack up his hairballs wherever he feels like it- generally in the middle of the floor or on the bed if that's where he happens to be and doesn't feel like moving!
-
Mine LOVE their grass, and only 2 of them regularly hack it up after they eat it. One is polite enough to do it while she's still in the yard, the other waits until he's inside and can do it on the middle of the floor, or the bedspread, or the couch! My cats are housecats, but they have supervised yard priveleges! They love to roll around on the concrete, eat grass, stare at the birds and chase bugs and butterflies!

I've never watched pro wrestling before, but a friend did spring for the PPV, so we went over there and watched it on his big screen HD TV! Quite a production, and I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed it! I was hoping to see Trump get his head shaved, but of course, that was never going to happen! I think I got the biggest kick out of watching his girlfriend's son and his buddy! They are die hard fans!

To answer your first question- No. A prepayment penalty is a charge or fee (usually a percentage of your loan amount) that the lender reserves the right to charge of you pay your loan off early. Theoretically, if a loan has a prepayment penalty, it is in exchange for a discounted interest rate. The terms and conditions of the prepayment penalty need to be disclosed. My "expertise" is mortgage loan related, but auto loans and other installment loans tend to work the same way. Finance charges include interest and other costs related to the financing. Interest has to be earned before a lender can collect it, so interest stops accruing when you pay the loan off. The "finance charge" disclosed on your installment note is a combination of interest for the full term of the loan and any closing costs. Any full or partial prepayment reduces that amount. The statement "I will not be entitled to a refund of my finance charge" refers to the finance charges already paid- points, closing costs, interest earned, etc. That's why they use the term "refund". On a mortgage loan, you might pay points to lower your rate. You pay the points up front to lower your interest rate for the life of the loan, but your lender won't prorate back and refund the "unused" portion if you pay the loan off early. Makes sense? Obviously, I don't have the paperwork in front of me and you should read through it (especially the note) very carefully, but that is a standard clause.

Good point, but remember, its NOT an eating disorder! Honest! (Maybe a few of those high carb prison meals would put a little meat on her bones!)

We wouldn't end up on death row, but we would end up in a heap of trouble and possibly in jail. I think they should lock her up, and being allowed to miss a court appearance is wrong! I'm sure Nicole is on probation for something too. Maybe she can violate her probation and they can serve their sentences together with cameras filming the whole time. That would be a season of "The Simple Life" that might be worth watching!

I can see this thread getting out of control very easily HOWEVER there is something to be said for speaking very bluntly about this incident, because it doesn't happen often enough. I've been to more than one wake with a giant elephant in the room that everyone sees and no one acknowledges. There's a tendency to turn dead skydivers into heroes, when the truth is, most of the time they're just regular people who fucked up. Maybe if we start speaking a little more bluntly, less of us will die making the same damn mistakes.

Ditto to that, but mine took over a year before it really healed. If I had any idea it would take that long, I wouldn't have done it- I was thinking maybe 6 weeks or so! Then I broke my leg, needed surgery and the nurse had to take the ring out. The hole closed right up, and I don't think I would do it again.

Well, I did watch it. They were just added the first half of this season. I thought it was kind of funny how they got "spliced" into some of the flashback scenes. Kind of reminded me of Buffy the Vampire Slayer when all of the suddon she had a little sister. Of course, that involved some supernatural monks tampering with everyone's memories, but maybe those same monks have been hanging out on Lost Island! The dog will probably dig them up, since they've established that Paulo has a little insight into what the others have been up to, and he's kept his mouth shut all this time. Besides, didn't Locke say nothing stays buried there? Of course, the real question- how did one flight end up with so many thieves and murderers on it?

Hilarious Video: For you American Idol fans: The Sanjaya Anthem!
tigra replied to SuperKat's topic in The Bonfire
shhhhhh- It isn't outside forces. Sanjaya is boosting their ratings and creating interest in an otherwise really dull season of American Idol. Rest assured, the "PTBs" at American Idol LOOOOOOVE Sanjaya and my guess is he'll be around for several more weeks! -
270 mg of Phentermine? Seriously? On top of all that caffiene and sugar? Whoa.......... that's a little beyond "Get 'Er Done!" Costco has been pushing ZippFizz. There's a powder you can put in a bottle of water- sort of like a sugar free gatorade with an extra punch, and a liquid "shot" variety that's packs even more punch! No sugar in either, and loaded up with vitamins. Not exactly tasty, but the flavor is tolerable! The liquid shot is probably the equivalent of the 5 hour drink someone else brought up- helps with that afternoon slump at work!

Oh, Grue would LIKE you, but only for a night or so!

I have one or two days like that at least once a month! Protein and veggies won't do the trick!

So, an episode almost entirely dedicated to rarely shown fringe characters? Artz- on two episodes- when? the end of season one? for the sole purpose of being blown up, and these other two who just appeared this year with no apparent purpose? This is supposed to draw the viewers back in? Two characters no one gives a damn about being buried alive? That and another glimpse of Boone and Shannon? Or is the show just fulfilling some contractual obligations by giving these actors a little more screen time? Whatever- guess there's no reason to watch tonight! Sun hitting Sawyer is about the only interesting part, and we saw that in the previews! That's two returning shows I really looked forward to this year that have completely let me down!

You have man-growing trees and put a fence around them????

And if you didn't buy their insurance, your own should also cover it after the deductable. No sense in trying to hide it.

I know who he is, so does eeneR!

I agree, he's adorable and I don't think I would have euthanized him either. I was just pointing out that there was a little more to the controversy than "natural laws"!

I had one that used to sleep in the sink all the time. Something about the nice cool porcelain and the shape, I guess. The cats I have now just like to drink from the sink. Until I bought a house and started paying the water bill, I would leave it on just a little for my cats to drink fresh water all day. Now I've got one of those fountain things instead, but they still like to drink from the faucet in the sink or tub whenever they can.
-
Their point was that because of his exposure to humans, he's never going to be able to live in the wild, or even live in captivity with other polar bears. And he's not going to be such a "sweetie" when he's full grown. Its a valid concern, and I hope the zoo officials are working to find a way to re-assimilate him with the other bears once he's able to fend for himself more. He's a polar bear, not a puppy.

Sun couldn't get pregnant because Jin is (was) sterile. But they've already established that she had an affair with the guy who taught her English shortly before they took their fateful flight, and in Lost time, they've been on the island less than 3 months. Either the island regenerated Jin's dead sperm or (more likely) the baby isn't his.

OK LETS MAKE SIMON COWEL QUIT AND SCREW UP AMERICAN IDOL
tigra replied to judedre's topic in The Bonfire
Awww Chris, You're kind of cute when you are all riled up! But I think you're taking AI just a little too seriously! Legal shit??? I give up! And Judedre, vote all you want, but if you think its hurting the show, think again. This is a show that firmly agrees with the concept that there is no such thing as bad press! All you are doing is boosting their ratings! -
OK LETS MAKE SIMON COWEL QUIT AND SCREW UP AMERICAN IDOL
tigra replied to judedre's topic in The Bonfire
American Idol does that every single season. There's always one geeky untalented teenager in the finals that has no business being there, isn't there? They all want to be there, and its the show that's screwing with them much more so than the mean American public making fun of them! To answer the original post- why feed Ameircan Idol's ratings? Make no mistake, this is all a huge ratings ploy. Even if Sanjaya got the majority of the votes, the producers wouldn't allow him to win. He'll probably end up in 6th or 7th place. He's still in now because people are talking about him, tuning in to see how bad he really is and waiting to see when he finally gets the boot. It happens every season. I haven't watched this year at all, but I hear this season happens is way more boring than previous years, so they're using the Howard Stern "Simon's going to quit" bit to boost the ratings and generate more interest in the show. -
Randy, I think the problem is with the canned food, at least that's how I'm reading it! Your dog should be fine!
