Well, in the 16 hours since the Chinese prick unloaded Jack from the cargo plane and turned him over to CTU, he figured out exactly what was going on with the Russian suitcase nukes, hopped back on the plane, collected Audrey and returned. And somehow, with all the time changes, a round trip flight to China plus some red tape really didn't take all that long! Or, how about this? Obtaining the circuit board for the Chinese was Jack's evil father's plan all along and he and the prick have been in cahoots this entire time. Audrey's been stashed in California to use as bait. We already know his father and brother were responsible for turning him over to the Chinese, so this actually makes sense.

Those us of who click and read these posts really have no right to complain or give him shit. Bigway has been at this for months now, hasn't he? Personally, I prefer the small reveals like these over the complete episode recaps before they are aired BUT I only have myself to blame if I read those.

If she dies, its because the baby was conceived on the island and its Jin's. Back in Korea, Jin was sterile, but he didn't know it. And Sun was having an affair. Juliette said whatever killed the mothers happened at conception. Sawyer's implant- not a suprise. Kate pregnant? predictable, especially now that we know about the pregancy "problem" on the island and how Ben sees all the women (even the "others") as expendable guinea pigs. Kate's a killer, so she's especially expendable. And Sun killed one of the others, right? I doubt they'll lift a finger to save her. And OF COURSE Ben is the son of the hippies. Is that supposed to be a big deal? He made it clear he was born on the Island.

They've sent at least 3 spies to infiltrate them, if you count Goodwin who they sent to the tailies. Then Ethan at the beginning and "Benry" himself last year. And I actually think Jack is sort of right about Juliette- he trusts her because she's been manipulated by Ben and wants off the island. (I think most of the "others" are in the same boat, at least in terms of being manipulated, but they just don't all realize it.) I think she's conflicted, but not necessarily bad, and Jack probably knows that too. And its Ben that's behind her medical experiments- he won't let her leave until she "cures" the pregnancy problem on the island.

I never liked Michael. Before he turned into Psycho Killer, he was just a cranky whiner and a LOUSY father. Walt on the other hand, was interesting, especially with his special "gifts". If the "others" wanted him so badly because of those gifts, it doesn't make sense that they'd just let him go unless (like his step father) they were afraid of him. Walt returning without his father has potential! I agree with you about the submarine. It didn't exactly look seaworthy! But doors into other timelines? I keep think alternate universe, blah blah blah. Then again, there was that show where a family took a canoe trip and ended up in some prehistoric land with dinosaurs and stuff. And this show does throw in some weird 60s sci fi crap! Oh, and I hate the idea of a "slaughterfest" for the finale! If the "others" are so morally superior to the Lostaways, why do they keep kidnapping, drugging and killing them?

OK Spoiler Man, I have a question. Maybe its obvious and I just haven't been paying attention but........... in last week's flashback when Ben showed Juliet the video with her sister and nephew, that was just after the plane crash- 3 months or so in Lost time, right? Ben told the guy in the video to hurry back. Did he come back already? Have they shown him as one of the others? Or is he on his way which means they have ANOTHER submarine or means of transportation? I don't believe Locke destroyed all of Ben's methods of communicating with the outside world, but its convenient for Ben to have pretty much everyone believe that he did. OK, one more---- have we seen the last of Michael and Walt? I actually don't care about Michael- I'd be happy if he was shark food but the Walt storyline could have been interesting. I guess the writers decided explaining away a 6 inch growth spurt was a stretch even with the island's magical properties!
-
I like the storyline about the pregnancies. It sort of explains the "Other's" fascination with Claire, and opens the door for something interesting with Sun's pregnancy. (IF the island cured Jin's sterility and the baby was conceived on the island, anyway.) But how interesting can a pregnancy storyline be on a show where an entire season is only about a month in Lost time? At this rate, Sun won't even look pregnant for several seasons! The show is improving for me, but I hate that after several weeks of suckiness, its only starting to get decent again now that the season is almost over!

Jack Bauer on LOST Island! I like it! Whose ass would he start kicking first? The murderers and theives from the flight, or the slimy "others"? Maybe we'd be treated to all his back story and find out why he was such a tortured soul even before his ex lover murdered his wife!

Well, they carried off the president he replaced in Season 4 on a stretcher, still alive, and he was never heard from again. Audrey's father drove off a cliff, apparently lived through it but hasn't been heard from since. Logan might be alive and at the same golf club they are. We'll never know! I didn't care what they did to Logan, but I hated what they did to Martha and Aaron! She was so much fun to watch last season, and he's been a favorite of mine since season 2. But the writers turned her into a babbling nut case, and he became her caretaker. I think the writers ought to borrow from Dallas next and have Audrey wake up and walk into the bathroom where Jack is taking a shower. The past 18 months including day 6 did NOT happen, it was all a dream!

Or planning to...................... -
If you have the DVDs from last season, in the "Prequel" to this season, the Chinese do the fake rescue thing with Jack. Palmer's definitely dying. But I think he'll force the evil VP out and appoint Karen before he croaks, making her president. A lot to do in the next few hours, but I think that's where the season is leading us. Maybe before he dies he'll also pardon Jack for the treason he's about to commit in his effort to rescue Audrey.

I don't listen to him, but he's on a station that's dedicated to news and current events. A station that would not hire Howard Stern. Isn't he supposed to be more of a journalist than an entertainer/comic/ personality/ shock jock?
-
That's actually a good point. Its as if the producer was egging him on, and no one seems to care about his comments at all. He doled out just enough rope for Imus to hang himself with, and that's exactly what he did.
-
but you are not. Do you think his career should be ended? I do. If he can't control what comes out of his mouth, he doesn't belong on live TV or radio. The guy's no spring chicken either- this could be an early sign of senility. Time to retire, maybe move on to something else or just sit on his porch and scare all the neighborhood kids off his lawn. And hey, I've got to ask. Has anyone seen the show Absolutely Fabulous? He looks remarkably like Patsy!

The close calls happen every season. That and getting there just seconds after the villain escaped. That's all part of 24. What pissed me off most about this season was the blatant re-using of storylines from previous seasons- too numerous to list. I don't even think there was a single new idea from the writers so far! And yeah, I've still been watching. The show is still better than a lot of the crap on TV. Pretty soon, I may be forced to choose between 24 and Heroes, though, and Heroes will win out!

Dad was involved with the Chinese- he and his brother helped them take him at the end of last season. I think they already established that- everything Graem (sp?) did, his father knew about and authorized or ordered. BUT, Jack was happily married to Teri at the time his nephew was conceived. Not his son unless he made a donation because Graem was shooting blanks! He and the Rena Sofer character have some sort of history, but its from before Jack went off and joined the army and she married his brother, which I think they already established this season also. Besides, in true 24 fashion, I doubt we'll see Rena Sofer or Jack's dad for the remainder of the episodes this year. And I'm still disappointed that they killed his brother (Paul McCrane from ER)and no helicopter was involved!

Best line of the season, and right up there with "Someone get me a hacksaw" from season 2- Ricky Schroeder looking at the warehouse and the dead bodies and finally Assad on the chain all twisted and broken and dead. "Damn, Jack!"

I just think threads like these are silly, because there is so much more to a person than "hotness", so much more to "hotness" than looks, and "hotness" is in the eye of the beholder anyway! Trust me, we're ALL "hot" to someone!

Thanks! I hope you get some good results that will give you a little more quality time with him! I wasn't ready to let Gizmo go, but I don't think you ever are. I do know his last few days were pretty darn good, and in his way, I think he was trying to say goodbye. We think it was a stroke and he went pretty quickly without any pain. After 17 years, that's about all you can really ask, right? But I miss him, and my other cats miss him too. He ruled the household for so long, and now they have to figure out the new hierarchy without him! Anyway, I'm crossing my fingers for you! maura

I just lost my 17 year old "King of a cat" last week! Vibes and good luck to them both!

My cat Spike LOVES to pull the magnets off my fridge. Its so funny to watch him when he's in magnet mode! I swear this guy has OCD! He gets so determined. If you put them back up, he knocks them down again. And then he'll go for weeks without touching them! If it isn't magnets, he's "stalking" the algae eater in the aquarium- only the one fish, he ignores the rest, or going to town on a roll of TP. He can shread a roll of toilet paper in less than 2 minutes!

And they are girl kitties so I'm doubly doomed! I've shared my home with several cats over the years, and my male kitties have always been more even tempered, sweet and less moody than the females. Don't get me wrong, I love our little girl kitty, but moody is an understatement. And she's a sweetheart compared to most other female cats I've known- mine and others!
-
Don't encourage her! I think she's already got 7 cats in addition to the outside kitties she provides food for. Is that correct Michele, or is my count off? And Lisa M- I know from experience that cats can and do hold grudges. My cat Gizmo snubbed me for a good 6 months the first time I brought a kitten home after he'd been the only cat in the house for a few months. And he'd snub me if I left for a long weekend or on vacation. He was a super sweet affectionate cat, and eventually he realized he was missing out on the loving and attention when he snubbed me. So, over the years, the snubs became shorter and eventually he gave up and acted happy to see me as soon as I walked in the house after a long weekend. Years ago, when I split up with my ex bf, I had to leave a shirt behind for his cat to sleep on. And our calico kitty we have now loves to sleep on her daddy's clothes. She wants affection only on her terms, and she used to only climb up in our laps if we had a nice soft blanket to burrow in. As she gets older, she's becoming much more affectionate but its still only on her terms! (She's about 8 now!)

50 Mistakes Women Make When Having Sex. NSFW??

Interesting that someone named Jeremy reads Cosmo, shaves his legs and wears a bra almost everyday.
