Hi Interested to know what your favourite UK dropzone is (list taken from BPA magazine). I am not interested in why a paticular DZ is poor so please dont start slagging and get my thread locked But if you have any paticularly positive things to say about somewhere please do so. Lesson 1 is appearing - Not everyone likes cops. In general decent people like police, shitbags (technical term) dont. However - It only takes one bad experience from a genuine member of the public to turn anti. Be one of the good ones. Be a good judge of charachter. Treat joe public as they deserve and are entitled to be treated and treat joe shitbag the way they deserve to be treated. My only annoyance in the UK (imagine its similar over US) is that the honest, hardworking people only have a very small contact with police - they might only meet an officer once in there lifetime. Leave the right impression. Our usual 'customers' have never worked a decent day in there lives and if they did they certainly didnt pay there taxes. Yet we waste all our time/money on them. Anyone that doesnt like the police should remember that when your in need. Being robbed/attacked or are a victim of crime the same people that gave youa ticket for speeding will rush to your aid and risk there own lives to do so without thinking twice. Sorry to rant. Had to vent a little. Been tough week

I know in the UK if whilst your at college any act of dishonesty comes to light. Youll be kicked out the force quicker than you know whats happened. If its what you want to do, go for it. No one ever got anywhere without taking risks. If your secretly wanting them to hold on to your job because your not sure if police is job for you. Then reconsider your application. My humble opinion

Def, Ive had a grade 1 for years now and its awesome. Dont have to brush it, style it. I can actually wash my head with soap! I bought a set of hair clippers for ten punds back then and ive still got the same pair. Each haircut probably cost me about 20 pence I consider it hippy length when I can get two fingers and grip a strand of hair - I think I have a problem

I became qualified in that skill in a hospital lobby. I couldnt get off the stretcher bed thing beause of a large open wound (already been waiting 3 hours - Yay to the NHS - I digress) been holding it so long I filled up one bottle then had to have a rapid switch half way through. I suspect it was more the angle I was holding the bottle than the quantity being the reason I needed another one!

I had a nice car then once started skydiving realised all I really needed a car for was to get around. So I sold that, bought a lump of french poo with wheels, put the money towards AFF and my rig (when its finally ready - GRRRR) Ebay has been my friend selling all sorts of junk I didnt really need, im now considering if I really need a DVD player & flatscreen TV

Haha, your right. In our student rigs with a Manta 280 I can pull my self up on the front risers to slide my leg straps down my legs a bit so I sit rather than dangle.
