I quite like the super moto style bikes too. They are cool, but for a different reason. And the unfaired wind blast isnt exactly something any of us are scared of ;) I would like to do my direct access when im 21 (Roll on March) which means that in UK if you pass that you can ride any bike without restriction. But obviosuly, using a bit of common sense.

Maybe its cos im a young hooligan or something but I do not understand the attraction with these big cruising bikes. I wouldnt give a damn who it was made by as long as it was awesome My admission here is that Ive never ridden a proper motorcycle but used to love going out on my uncles ZZR110 and ripping up the countryside. My dream bike, see attachment... Wouldnt want an R1 - Thats just silly performance

Said in the other thread (http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1070606;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread) That it was camera mounted to aircraft then they airbrushed out the mounting stuff

Hello CrannyAnnie, Im Sam, Im 20, come from Kent and at weekends I like cuddling puppies and looking after little orphan children. When im not trying to skydive that is. Haha. On a serious note... Good to have another Brit to even the numbers up a little. Cant wait to get my A then I shall start touring some of the other DZs too. Well done on the freeflying thing, I love watching it and like to try at some point too. Just not yet! Welcome aboard!

*please feel free to move to bonfire or photography if more appropriate* Hey, Im new to skydiving at the moment (I update my profile every jump - every one counts you know!) and nothing gets me more pumped than watching people exiting and doing silly things. To me climbing outside an aircrfat in itself is mental. I saw this picture in another thread and pinched it. Wondered if anyone else got any crazy similar pics they would be kind enough to share.
-
In that case, Id probably be fuming if I was in your position. So far *touch wood* Ive never had or been involved in any accident. But then winters coming and so is the ice so ive probably jinxed it now

That really sucks. I feel your pain. Theres a car with a sign on it down my road that reads: "WARNING: I brake for elves, pixies and other stuff that only I can see!" You not got a case of that have you

Awesome vid. Gotta say I was more impressed by the climbing than the BASE. Unbelieavable, I suppose what goes up must come down!

I am one of those 'pigs' as you so politely put it. Well, a part time pig. I wouldnt want to be armed. If it came to it Id do it. But I wouldnt volunteer for it. If you knew how the british police forces treated its employees when they did something thats a little bit serious youd understand. IE no support whatsoever. They will arrest their own staff, make them step down from duties and throw the book at them. Just so the public know that they arent covering anything up. Ive got colleagues who have been attacked on duty and in some cases an attempt has been made on there life. Ive seen collagues of mine who have also killed a member of the public in a pursuit. Ive had to defend myself in a couple of bad situations too BUT I WOULDNT WANT TO BE ARMED. I wouldnt want the resulting actions on my conscience. And for that matter, some of the people I wouldnt want to see armed. They are bad enough with a can of pepper spray. And besides, shooting someone.... It really isnt worth the paperwork.

I wouldnt worry about it. I used to make loads of parts for racing cars. One off components for engines and other systems. Everyone appreciates its a risky business and shit happens (unfortunately) Id say by making tools to do a job, you wouldnt be responsible. The person doing the work on the rigs might be the one to worry Relax and enjoy your new sideline and cash flow
