Haha, sounds like me after my first jump! LET IT ALL OUT! Welcome aboard, have you considered doing AFF? I think youd love it after your tandem and depending on how much time and money you throw at it determines how quickly you can get licenced. It is expensive though My training was perfectly timed to coincide with some money I had left over after consolidating some finance agreements. After that, e-bay is always a charm Theres always options!

My Mum was terified when I did my first jump. She couldnt think straight at work because she was worrying and when I came back that evening and told her that although Id been at the DZ all day I hadnt jumped, but I did have my first packing lesson, she looked gutted, as if to say... so ive got to worry all day tomorrow now too. Shes cool with it now, but if she knows im going to jump she is still scared. Bless. Normally I go during the week so first she knows is when I come home beaming and hyper occasionally with a video. I think if it wasnt for the video she'd be even worse. Its nice for her to watch and see what its really like. It looks amazing and actually quite calm on the video so that helps. She also will have a moan to her friends saying that I cause her so much stress but underlying in that moan is her excitedly bragging! I always do things to worry my Mum though, thats what im for!

The futures bright, the futures nuclear ... and dont let any damn hippies tell you otherwise! Joking aside, nuclear is definately the way forward. Not quite sure what we would do for vehicle fuel though. I guess everything would have to go electric. And there wouldnt be any plastic anymore, which would suck. Ahhh well, not in my lifetime!

I watched a film/documentary/comedy sketch - I really cant remember what it is, but it made me laugh and expanded my mind a little bit as well. It got on to the topic of pollution and how if we keep abusing our planet the world will die and it will be then end as we all know it. In the next sentance it was said - actually, the world will be just fine. Its survived ice ages, periods as a planet of water, fiery volcanic ages. A little bit of carbon dioxide/monoxide or whatever isnt going to affect things. The world around us is always evolving. It just might be that our species doesnt evolve quick enough. Why are we so up ourselves to say it will be the end of the world? It was kind of scary to think how insignificant we are in the great scheme of things but also took away some of my guilt. Yup, no more recycling from me!

In Scoop's Amazing Fandabulous Tunnel (TM) you could move the whole chamber, and because we dont discriminate here at SAFT, it could still be used for belly flying/freeflying - Hence the ground level door in traditional format Thinking about it, having a door that large as wingsuit entry point would probably cause such a loss of air pressure be hard to get the required lift. Still... one day maybe... *sigh*

Looks really badly photshopped. The definition of the foreground compared to background is disimilar. Obviously its a focus thing, but it even looks like only one dog and theyve been layered over each other. Of course I might be completely wrong. In which case, you didnt see anything, it was just a weather baloon you photographed

Will the time ever come where we will have wingsuit/tracking tunnels? Look at my pic. Would you have guessed im no graphic designer Seems like a reasonable concept although I would imagine be difficult to adjust for the differing vertical & horizontal speeds. What if the centre point of the chamber was on a pivot and you could turn rotate the whole chamber. Ie for belly/freeflying then whip it round at an angle (motor included) for some tracking/wingsuit fun. I know it sounds a bit 'tomorrows world' but I reckon could be possible in few years time. How much fun would that be!
