  1. Sorry about that. I left my car keys about 3 feet away on the edge of my bed, and nearly jumped out of my socks when I glanced over and saw this weird looking black thing on the sheets about 10 minutes ago (my keychain)..
  2. These are the bugs that freak me out the most of all. They just look evil...
  3. I've lived in TX my entire life, and have only seen one, and it was out on a farm. Those potato bug things freak me out though...
  4. I think it's more out of sympathy as opposed to admiration
  5. One more thing to add about DZ.com: If you decide to post in SC, every post must contain material relating to either: Gun control, racism/sexism, or the French.
  6. If I remember correctly (please correct me if I'm wrong), weren't you the one that claimed responsibility for hijacking ("hacking" is the term I believed you used) the ASC forum and sending out spam late the other night in the Skyride thread ? (It appears to have been deleted, but I'm not sure.) Discussing legal matters after publicly announcing that you illegally gained access to a commercial computer system is something I find humerous. You amuse me. Edit: Cause I can't spell
  7. Was it over at Billy Bob's? I wanted to go see that but forgot about it. I've seen him 3 times in the past few years, and he always puts on an awesome show. Did he sing the song "Kiss My Ass"?
  8. Actually...no, I lucked out thus far. It rained at the Aerosmith show last year. Aerosmith + lotsa beer + rain = lota drunk women stripping in the lawn area.
  9. Ever been to a show out there when it rained?
  10. I was just looking in my ParaGear catalog, and under the HiPer page with the Nitro and Blade, there is a section that says to keep an eye out for a new midrange canopy ranging in size from 135 to 230sq ft. I've searched here, and have yet to find any information. Anyone know anything about it?
  11. Do you know what sort of weapon you could buy in the US after getting that converted into Dollars? Or you could buy 2 of a pretty nice weapon. This?
  12. Office space was classic. Reminds me too much of my job....
  13. So instead of "Leave no child behind" it has become "Leave all children behind"?
  14. I wouldn't recommend the Post office for Skydiving gear. When you add in the weight, plus the cost of insurance, it turns out being expensive as hell. At least thats my experience with them. I ship stuff at work via UPS with no problem. But if they lose a package (they have lost only 2 or 3 of the few thousand we shipped last year) they are less than helpful. For expensive stuff, I think fed-ex is the way to go.
  15. I happen to like my protec! it holds my pro-track pretty good and it was cheap (which is inherently cool)!
  16. I'd recommend Fed-Ex. I just got mine back via UPS and they just left the thing on the porch and left, no signature, didn't even ring the damn doorbell. I missed a Fed-Ex delivery with something expensive a while back, and went to pick it up at one of their service centers, and they wouldn't give it to me without ID. More secure with Fed-Ex in my opinion.
  17. Only took them 24 years from the time he was convicted...... *** About 300 death penalty opponents gathered outside the prison gates, holding candles and signs. But one person had a sign reading "Bye Bye Beardslee." Quote
  18. Ah, forgot it was CA. When was the last time they actually executed anyone sentanced to death?
  19. Hmm. Maybe not.. GLENDALE, Calif. - The suicidal man who authorities say caused the chain-reaction train derailment that killed 11 people has been charged with multiple counts of murder and could face the death penalty, the district attorney said Thursday. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6870372/
  20. Not new by any means, but check out the bands Savatage and Nightwish. I think they are both pretty good.
  21. So now you're saying that no other country in the world could have done anything to prevent it? If the US had opposed the war then, instead of remaining neutral, do you really think Saddam would have not invaded kuwait?
