Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't Absinthe be ordered legally in the US? (from other countries)

Lawyer crosses the line, time to pay the piper!

Man, now I'm never going to get to sleep with that song in my head... -
(3y/(4z)) / (2y/(4z)) *4z = 3y / 2y / y = 3/2 = 1.5 I think...

Anyone know how/if China has responded to this announcement yet?

I think the biggest threat from NK would be them providing the weapons to someone that would use them against us. I highly doubt that they would ever use them, except if the US did decide on an invasion. Seems like they just want some leverage when it comes to getting aid/food/etc..

So yes. She "broke the law". Further she broke the law in THAT state. My point is that the resulting negative moral judgements made of her and her "victim" are narrow minded & unfair. Mike. Yes, she did break the law in that state. Why should she be treated any differently than anyone else that broke the law in that state?

No. It's a constant testing of a parachute. Really? Here is a quote from an earlier post of yours: I said that jumping from a plane that isn’t damaged in any way can be classified as stupidity If I don't like what's on the radio, I don't call and complain that the host is a jerk or crazy, I change the station. If you don't enjoy skydiving, just don't jump and find something else to do. Don't come here and tell me that I jump because I want to die, that I'm suicidal, etc. Don't come here and tell me skydiving is stupid. Go somewhere else. It's taken me about three posts, but at least I can say that I've learned something. This is a waste of time. Feel free to reply to my post, but don't expect a response, as I don't feel like wasting any more time than I already have. Have a nice day.

I understand that different countries have a different AOC. This didn't happen in those countries.

People that drive around at the grocery store for 30 minutes looking for a closer parking spot, only to go inside and make an ass of themselves by bitching at the people that work there about having to wait in a line..... Little hondas that have massive exhausts that drive past my house at night revving the engine at every stop sign. and Spiders

Agreed. Ignore the gender. A 27yo engaged in sexual conduct with a 13yo. End of story.
-
That's exactly what I was thinking... I wish I had a lunch break...
-
Same here. It was either pay for an apartment and school (no skydiving) or pay for school and skydiving (no apartment).

Good point... post edited.

Ying, why not jUst state the point you're trying to make instead of trying to insult everyone? Your feeble attemt at trying to sound excessivly intelligent isn't working, nor does it help your argument. I don't see why you are so persistant in trying to convince everyone of something so pointless. I'm sure there are many people that subconciously want to die. Most of them probably participate in some sort of risky behaivor, what does that matter? Troll Comment #1 You didn't call anyone stupid, I agree, you just said what we do is stupid. Troll Comment #2 You admitted you don't like Americans, then proceed to tell everyone that all Europeans are smarter than Americans. And regarding the comment about you hitting on me, it was a joke. Surely someone as "intelligent" as yourself would have known that. I don't know who the leader of Poland is, and I'm not really concerned about that. The chances of me needing to know that anytime in the near future are slim. If I do need to, I'm sure I can find out who it is. Edit: Don't feel like getting banned today

Vodka and that Code Red mountain dew stuff are pretty good together as well

I prefer bourbon and rum myself, but I had a roomate 2 years ago that would start out with 2 shots of everclear before he went to a party. I tried it once, but I don't think I'll do it again

Microsoft antivirus purchase could threaten big security firms
justinb138 replied to jdhill's topic in Speakers Corner
Nice article. The company I work for has had 2 problems with viruses in the last 6 months (that involved shutting down nearly every one of the few hundred PC's in the building on one occasion), and I can't imagine what those 2 events have cost. I'd get a Mac at home if I was more familiar with them, but for now I've got 2 linux machines, and I'm stuck with XP Pro on my Vaio notebook (Linux didn't like some of it's hardware). As long as I run Ad Aware 2 or 3 times a week (after updating the database), and antivirus software every week it seems to do alright.....most of the time.. -
Speaking of gov'ts wasting money, do you remember hearing about Dallas spending 94,000$ on a study to find out how a Gorilla got out of his cage at the Zoo last year? If I remember correctly, they had video of it jumping up and climbing out.

Quote Texas is the most polluted state in the nation....hmmmmm reply] I'm not denying it, but where did you get that information? Edit: cause I can't type today

In a perfect world, it wouldn't be and shouldn't be. In the real world, think about the serious hit the economy would take if all of a sudden, Wal-Mart went under. Think beyond the thousands and thousands of Wal-Mart employees. Think beyond the train and trucking industry used to support Wal-Mart, think beyond the construction, electrical and all the other contractors needed to build and maintain each one of the Wal-Mart stores, storehouses and offices. Think beyond the the thousands of workers making and building items to be sold in those stores. Think about their children going hungry! (how was that for a "liberal" answer?) Ok, joking aside, I assume my point about the influence a mega-corporation like this has on the health of the economy has been made. The economy is just now turning around from the serious hit from 9/11. Think about the health of the economy and the importance of the health of the economy for the survival of the country. And if Wal-Mart went under, what about all the jobs that would be created by their competitors ? If they are receiving free money from the gov't, what motivation do they have to increase profits by improving efficiency like alot of other companies have done? It just pisses me off when my tax money ends up in the pocket of some millionaire CEO.
