  1. Not now, but they could with Bill's suggestion...LOTS of money. So why is it the government's job to keep multi-billion dollar companies from losing money?
  2. Which could result in serious job loss due to the companies needing to cut their losses. Which is more important? The health and welfare of the economy or temperary cuts with the EPA? Bill, look past those cuddily hugging trees and look at the big picture. Cut their losses? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but last time I heard anything about them, they weren't losing any money.
  3. Agreed. Why cut funding for big business that's already making hundreds of billions of dollars a year when you can cut funding to educational programs instead?
  4. Damn! Now I'm going to have scenes from "Wayne's World" stuck in my head all night
  5. True. Threads like this make me wish I had a "bitch-slap" key on my computer...
  6. Just incase anyone missed any of them, here's a link where all of the commercials can be viewed. http://dyn.ifilm.com/superbowlads/
  7. So I guess this the 1st of the 3 required America-bashing threads for this week?
  8. Right now a Navigator 260. Had a terminal ride on a Raven 282-M on Saturday though. I'm still trying to think of what I'm going to tell my boss when she asks why I'm walking funny tomorrow .
  9. Every day..... You work in TX, don't you? Hey now...
  10. Ok, is this one part of the old series or are they starting a new series cause the old one blew chunks? I'm not really sure... I just the like the cars .. The 1989 Batmobile is just about the coolest car on earth..
  11. Ugh... The new Batmobile is ugly as hell...
  12. Looks like pepsi is continuing with the suck-fest.
  13. I'm just wondering how long its going to be until I see those ugly honda trucks covered with honda racing stickers, huge spoilers, and coffee-can sized exhausts.
  14. Seems that alot of people that don't somehow feel threatened by us law-abiding citizens that do.
  15. I found this tonight and just had to post it....
  16. I don't think anyone assumed that they did. But if they don't have a choice (and I'm not saying that they don't) how would anyone ever know?
  17. The Iraq kinda slipped in there, should have been Afghanistan. I'm kinda used to everything on here lately being about Iraq. I didn't mention anything about WMDs though, or the reason why they are there, I just said it wasn't becuase of the way they treat women. I'm not going to try and guess what the real reason we are in Iraq is (WMD's, etc), as I honestly don't know, and I'm sure it's more than any one reason.
  18. ermm so noone in any of these cities owns a handgun.... Chicago and DC ban them outright. New York and LA make ownership and carry very rare and difficult. Guess what? These four cities are always amongst the top worst places for gun crime every year. Their bans and restrictions haven't done a thing to stop the criminals. AFAIK, they aren't banned in any cities in Texas, but it can be an inconvience to carry them in a city. It is illegal to carry in all city/state buildings and anywhere near a school. Most businesses prohibit them on their property as well. Most people I know with a CHL will keep their gun with them at home, and if they take it with them when they go out, they just leave it in the car.
  19. Ah. Confused I was it seems. Thanks for the correction.
  20. Last time I checked thats not the reason they're in Iraq. You kill someone because they are trying to kill you. Lets see the reason we are there is WMD there is no WMD. So wow not a very good statement there was it. I never mentioned WMD. You did. Anyway, just because they haven't found any yet, doesn't mean that they won't.

  22. I'd much rather he be on our side than theirs.
