  1. That is the first person I thought of when I read this thread.
  2. What's even worse is that the court apparently doesn't think what she did was wrong either. Edit: She knows what she did was wrong. Admitting it just wouldn't work very well for her case.
  3. A few I've seen in the area: "Is it a car or a phone booth? Shut the F*ck up and drive!" "Go ahead, cut me off, I'm reloading" On an old POS ford ranger with no bed: "Honk if something falls off"
  4. Don't be. Shit like that is probably more common than it seems. Unfortunatly, the court's decision doesn't really suprise me that much either.
  5. Ever tried the Miller High Life? It's the only beer I've ever had that tasted like shit after drinking four glasses of bourbon.
  6. That's part of the problem, too many appeals. Give em one appeal in the proper venue and with a competent attorney, then let the community determine the penalty if the conviction is upheld. I believe that there is legislation somewhat like this in the works here in Texas, but it would only speed up the death penalty in cases where there were more than 3 credible witnesses, video of the crime, etc..
  7. I've got to add: Terminator 2: for motorcycle chase scene with all of the explosions. Jurassic Park: For the T-Rex chase scene. If you've got a good subwoofer, it can shake your entire house when the dinosaur takes each step.
  8. Damn, I got 86% Dixie. I guess it's obvious I've lived in Texas all of my life... Here was the response: I clicked it again and got:
  9. Thanks... I hate it when elected officials worry more about their personal agendas than the issues pertinent to their constituents. If they make hunting illegal, guns will be next.
  10. I think there's a little bit of irony there...
  11. Eh, couldn't see it, login required... I wish people that try to pull that crap would at least try to get something done that was useful. It seems like the persistance of special interest groups is directly related to the absurdity of their cause. Just once, why can't they try to sneak in a bill for harsher punishment for drunk drivers or ban cell phone use while driving?

  13. Banning hunting in TX? They've got a better chance of banning beer!
  14. I dunno.. I would like to see F1 racing over here myself. I honestly don't see how people can actually watch NASCAR (without drinking at least, after a few beers, anything can be interesting)...
  15. You mean like the tour de France?
  16. Here is a quote from one of her earlier posts. She beleives that using the dictionary definitions of words is intellectual lazyness (Other people's standards, like the entire english-speaking world). Aparrently smart people make up there own definitions and be "creative".
  17. I'm thinking rape-caused HIV. That ought to do nicely... Yep. If someone doesn't kill him within the first year, he'll be someone's bitch for the next 40.
  18. YIKES!!!! What can one say to that???? I think there'll be no debate here.... linz I've seen them twice, they opened for bands I actually wanted to see. They were almost entertaining the first time I saw them, but they decided to play "new stuff" the last time...
  19. It was the same up here this morning in Dallas. I just hope it stays this way through the weekend....
  20. Well, I guess it could have been worse. I guess she could have said nothing to the school, and just filed some lawsuit against the school district for 10 million dollars because the school system "corrupted" her child due to some teacher's bumper sticker.
  21. Seems like no one anymore. If the kids spend the majority of the day looking at the license plate on a car, they've got bigger issues to worry about.
  22. It seems that some people complain about stuff like that just for the sake of having something to complain about. Come on lady, get a life...
  23. I saw it. Especially the part where the weird guy said he had a parachute not open at 15,000ft and had to open it with a pen knife....
  24. Thanks for posting that!. I'll have to give it a try, I've had some issues with my landings lately as well.
