  1. Hi all, I tried to contact them directly, but didn't get any answers... I know they closed shop and another company bough their assets, but does anyone have more info one what is happening? Thx Remi
  2. This is EXACTLY what is wrong with yongsters today! We go way to soft on them! How are they supposed to learn that life is tough.. really tough... A firm hand is what they need!! Good job!
  3. same can be said about the infamous hot-dog weiner ad!!! lol
  4. bla bla bla.... ... At least we can rejoyce at the fact that the weather must be louzy down there since you're on here wasting your time on a PC!! lol Remi PS: I dont think we've met yet....mmm.. maybe next week at Langar? or will you still be stuck in that hell-hole that Empuria is (yerk.. otters, sun, beaches, tapas, Spanish women.. how can you stand it????)
  5. geeee.. for a second, I though this wouldn't be skydiving related! Good job Michele....
  6. You poor poor poor man.... Seriously, have a definate look at the BPA site. And it depends how long you want to drive... not all DZs will be opened on week days (you said 13 to 17 which is Mon-Fri). Langar is open 7 days a week, and is a great place for RW, but there aren't too many Freaks around. Hinton is closer to London (1 hour drive, instead of 2), but in my experience there, you'd be happier if you're a Freak. I'm pretty sure its open on weekdays (Emma?) The military DZs are only open to Joe Public like us on weekends. One DZ that is quote close to London is Headcorn, but having never been, I dont know howe it is.... Anyways, see you around, but since you'll be here during the week, we wont be able to join you (damm work ) Remi
  7. Lets make ONE thing straight: I'M NOT A BRIT!!! I'm Quebequois (thats the untaimed French Canadians that want to seperate but say No every time they're given the opportunity...) And for the weather Will.. I hear you... thats why when I coordinated (notice that i didn't use the word organized) some tandem for colleagues, I tried to keep un-attached to the whole process... I've organised many activities before, and been in charge of many others, and I didnt want the baggage that came with it.... and you Will have a bigger heart then I have for paying yourself for the deposit! Remi PS: and to think I almost moved to Denver 2-1/2 years ago, and instead ended up in sunny England! PPS: Will, if I didnt pick up a bit of that SA accent in your post, I could have sworn you were a Pommie....
  8. 4:00 AM GMT.. but we're not on GMT in summer in the UK.. its GMT+1

  12. Its not mine, but its worth it! http://www.eco.utexas.edu/Homepages/Staff/Faulkner/yaknow.html
  13. CUTAWAY CUTAWAY!!!! just kidding... i think...
  14. Very danger!!! I'm all for safety.. really.. I am!!... but this would be getting a little too much Big Brotherish IMO. As along as a guy/gal is pre-A license, its one thing (but then again, it will come down to the jm's to either pass him/her or noty), but once you are self surpervised, you are exactly that: self supervised! Yea, you can get grounded, and then you should either wait it out (and understand why), or hit the road (and maybe understand why)! That how good road movies are made! lol Lets be safe, but lets not suck out all the individuality of this sport... its real easy to slip down a slipery slope once you get on it... Remi
  15. FOUND IT! http://members.nbci.com/_XMCM/powerdivx/software/DivX3.20.zip
  16. This WILL sound funny to sceptics..... Hit = hit the accuracy target Rock = get your rig off and run to a rocking chair and the time stops when you sit on it.... It is a POPS event after all....
  17. ned I say more: CRAP and dont believe the "sun looking type things" in there... its just a ruse!!!!!
  18. The whole of Anti Gravity (Patrick Passe's) soundtrack is awsome (allthough the voice over during the 8 way competition is a bit drab...)
  19. ....I wonder if walking barefoot was reaaaly what he was thinking about! Remi

  23. Some high altitude DZs also use O2 on all jumps (I'm not sure, but I think one of the Denver DZs does that) to get to 12,000 or more. Remi
