I understand that some calls are hard to make, pass interference being one of them. There's always some contact and the line is sometimes not clear, and especially without instant replay, as in that Bama v. LSU game you referenced, the call can be a difficult one. But in the case of the Oregon v. Oklahoma game this weekend, there is no grey area. Oregon kicked an onside kick. The rules state that the ball must travel 10 yards before Oregon players are able to touch it. It traveled 9 and was touched by an Oregon player. That's not a hard call. 9 < 10. On top of that, Oklahoma recovered the ball. The ball came to rest in the hands of an Oklahoma player. That's not a fuzzy area either. And yet despite those two facts, Oregon was awarded the ball. This is a situation in which someone needs to get fired.

I'm trying to do the math here.....isn't not your anniversary already is it?

I could point you to any number of really good restaurants in Austin, but when you get into the "under $150" range, you left me about a hundred bucks ago. However, if you do end up making it to One-2-One, give me a call.

Sounds sorta like my last date.

Good thing they were trying to catch a thief instead of a rapist

I'm sure they do. Tribal diktats went out of style years ago. -
Same situation, different call. In the Oregon game it was a tipped ball that they *did* call pass interference on, against Oklahoma. But that was the least egregious of THREE wrong calls in that final minute. Understand, of course, that Oklahoma is my nemesis. It never pains me to see them lose. But more than that I care about the state of college football, and referees should never have that much input into the outcome of the game. There is an investigation going on as we speak.

Would some one in the Salem area care to shed a little more light on this? -
Did you notice how Oklahoma got totally HOSED by the officials this weekend? And by proxy, Texas also got HOSED. I'm not usually one to complain about officiating, but they were just blatantly wrong THREE TIMES in the final minute, all in Oregon's favor.

It's the smell given off by billions of horny midichlorians when badass shit gets them all moist.

The Japanese models have had mute buttons for years.

I'm honored to have been here to witness it. Here it is, saved for posterity.

Oh come on, don't be a tease!

Nice edit.

I find it best to watch them one at a time. They're more easily comprehensible and the time line makes much more sense.

If you're going to to something drastic, at least do something some one will notice!

I'm going to have nightmares tonight.

Shit, I broke my wrist (in a non skydiving incident) and had to ride to the hospital in a cab. Drugs? I'm just glad he didn't charge me. Of course, this was on a Saturday, so the ER doc set it for me, then I had to wait two days for a surgeon to be available to operate.

But seriously, I really like the Gary Jules version of Mad World on the Donnie Darko soundtrack.

Have you figured out how to make balloon brains?

Ouch. But at least you got a nice avatar out of it.

So where's the party?

I actually asked myself "what the hell is a fucking barista?" when I first read the article, too.
