McDonald's is far from healthy. Even the salads are loaded with fat, mainly saturated and sodium too. Most of that comes from the salad dressings they use. The one that is low fat is loaded with sodium, close to 40% of your daily intake. Just because something is low fat does not make it healthy. You have to look at the whole spectrum: sodium, fiber, carbs, vitamins etc. A regular 1/4lber with cheese, medium fries and med coke has 1120 calories with 34 grams of fat. That's a lot of calories to burn off.

I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you. There are some f-ed up people out there. Getting a gun sounds like great advice. Have you also considered taking a womens basic self defense class. At my school the department of public safety offered one. It was two sessions each one last about 6-7 hours. Call your schools department of public safety also call the police department, I know they didnt sound to helpful with you, but give it a try. Hope this helps you out.

I was told recently, not sure if its true, that he coulndt pass Level 1 after many tries. I remember reading somewhere that he tried learning for his Balloon record attempt. I love sushi. There's a new craze among some LA restaurants now where they serve just one piece instead of the normal pair and they charge you normal prices. So if you're in LA watch out. I almost had a fit at this one restaurant. My personal favorites are sea urchin, fatty tuna, japanese mackerel and giant clam.

You think thats bad. A HOA here in So Cal had a family friend take out some trees he planted in his front yard because the HOA did not list them as appropriate trees one is allowed to plant. HOAs are usually run by pretty anal people too.

A fingerprint is only used to ID. That's as far as it goes. DNA on the other hand can tell me everything about you. If we know the gene for heart disease and your DNA is in a database anyone with access could run a screen on your DNA for that. A health insurance company might run DNA screens for certain diseases and either up your premium or deny you coverage if you have certain undesirable genes. A DNA database is a good idea, but the potential for abuse is far too easy.

Yeah thats what I heard on the radio the other day too. A few Law profs were on and talking about him. Just curious as to who will fill Rheinquist though. Is that a position appointed by the Prez or do the Justices chose one? I know the Prez appoints Justices but can he say I want O'Connor to be the head. -

Yes we are, but we can reason, we know right versus wrong. A hawk doesn't, it was hungry and a squirrel was food. Orcas do play with pups and kill them, but I doubt Orca's have the capacity to stop and think and say "hey buddy this is cruel", we do. The people that did this derived some sick pleasure in torturing 60 seals and killing them. That is not nature. I wouldn't say nature is violent, it's just nature. When a new lion takes over a pride he seeks out cubs of the former male and kills them. Why? Genes, preservation of his genes.

Most of the people that are against euthanasia haven't the slighest idea of what a terminally ill patient goes through mentally and physically. I don't think they can imagine the type of pain experienced when morphine or demarol don't work. Not to mention the emotional impact it has on the surviving memebers. With issues like this religion should be set aside and the well being of the individual and family should take precedence over the religious beliefs of society. Then again I dont think religious views should be shoved down everyones throat. Now if the individual wants to wither away, well thats within their choice.

I'm all for it. If someone has a terminal disease and is in severe pain let them die with dignity. My mom watched my grandma die with pancriatic cancer for 4 months till she was below 80lbs and even morphine couldn't dull her pain. All this while medical bills kept coming. The hospital was happy though, they got a shitload of money from us.

Yeah I noticed the UK media is really harsh sometimes. One thing I do like is when the PM addresses the house of lords or commons. I heard on the radio he has to do address them on a regular basis. Couldn't agree more. I'm really impressed with what Kerry did. It was the right thing to do for the country. The nation is already divided and a lot of healing has to take place.

. No, no, no. I didnt mean if someones having a heart attack just to stand around and watch him go down on the floor. What I meant was in scenarios of lets say back injuries, not moving the person is best, or lets say broken femur and the legs is all bent in weird angels not moving the leg is the best scenario. -
What's the difference between IAD and AFF? Also in S/L when you say 10 second delay, 15 second, etc what does that mean.

Another good reason. This is also why I turned down a tandem skydive while visiting another DZ close to mine a while back. None of the other TIs on the DZ would take the guy, so they asked me. I said, nope. He was on the strongest blood pressure meds available by a doctor, his skin was a greyish color and his eyes were cloudy. Uhhh...NOPE. Just curious but do TIs and other intructors know basic CPR and first aid? I know that the nature of injurys in this sport can vary from sprained ankles to major bodily trauma, but sometimes knowing what not to do is the best thing. -

Good. That is terrific news. Gay marraige has no place here in the US. They should not be allowed to marry and they certainly shouldn't be allowed to raise children. So who should raise kids? I know lots of hetero couples who shouldn't raise kids, yet they do. Ever been to a Childrens hospital and seen crack babys, or a kids born with FAS. I guess the notion of having two or one loving parents regardless of sexual orientation is too progressive of an idea.
