That evolutionary drive has been built into us over millions of years. I can see the point about the male species wanting to spread his genes as far and wide as possible. But would you also say that for female, she would seek out a man that is stable, well to do and willing to stick around to raise the child. It seems like almost two conflicting points of view: one wants to spread his genes around, the other wants him to stay. Your post got me thinking. Not to mention that many Professors from world class colleges are memeber of the Society for Scientific Exploration. Then again what do a bunch of Phds know. Umm... All these big brains involved in the search for the paranormal. You use them as evidence for the existence of the paranormal. Why don't any of them have anything definitively, objectively proving the existence of ghosts, spirits, vampires, bigfoot, aliens, or any other heebie-jeebie? Why has no one claimed James Randi's offer of $1,000,000 if he can't disprove their claim of psychic powers? In my view, it's all bullshit until someone PROVES it. No one has. - I didn't use them as evidance. Read some of the Society for Scientific Exploration papers. Yeah some are far fetched, while others are intresting. Still why are some of the brightest minds in the world curious about certain things that cannot be explained. It's all about keeping an open mind.

I've read the book long before this movie came out and I know one alpanist who has summited Everest, K2, and several other mountains. When asked what he would've done in such a situation, he simply looked at me and said "I dont know, I wasnt there." FYI it wasnt Simon who cut the rope, it was Yates. If you ever decided to read the book Simon said he would've done the same thing, hell the book was WRITTEN by Simon to exonorate his friend.

When I was 10 my mom and I moved back to El Salvdor, where I'm from. We lived in my Grandmothers house which was built around 1920 or there abouts. Anyway, I never liked that house and use to have the worst nightmares I've ever had in my life. Even to this day, the nightmares I have now dont compare to the ones I had when we lived there for 8 months. OK now to the freaky shit: -The most common one I had was of this "burning" man coming into my room. I would wake up screaming and go running to my moms room. It was freaking aweful. This would also freak out my mom and the maids we had at the house, since I was so discriptive in telling them this nightmare. Finally after about a month she sat me down and said we need to talk. She and my aunt explained to me that about 20 years or so ago an electrcian had fried himself while working on intstalling a fuse box there. -There was this room in the house, on the second floor that I never went into. There was just a bad 'vibe' about that room. What also made it worse for me is that one of my nightmares involved that room. Anyway the nightmare was of me being chased by this man who hung himself and hat cut his wrists. I couldnt see his face I just saw this man coming after me with blood all over him and a mangled face. I told this to my Aunt and mom. This one really freaked em out. Anyway, my aunt told me that one of our relatives had killed himself in that room in the 1960s and the reason he killed himself was that he was going to trial for the murder of 2 young kids, a little girl and boy. I also had a bunch of other weird ass and crazy dreams in that house. My mom was getting really concerned and worried about me so she sold the house and we moved somewhere else. I've been back to El Salvador a few times and we've driven by the house, its a small hotel now. My aunt wanted to go in for old time sakes I refused. I hate that house.

I use to worry how I would react to my first mal. Had one last Friday and when I reached my hard deck what you stated basically took over. I just remember looking at my Alti and when I was right at the HD, instinct took over. Really weird, but in a good way.

Umm....why? Farmed fish aren't treated harshly as farmed mammals are. And ocean fishing leads to pollution, changes in eco-systems and the threat of extinction of species. Fish farming is a huge benefit to the environment. Not really Philly. Not to mention that they have to feed them colored food to estbalsih that pink color otherwise they would be a dull grey. Also farmed salmon have at least half of the Omega fatty acids that wild salmon have.

OK. I've done virus checks with Macafee 8.0 and Norton System Works. All clear of viruses, BUT I get an insane amount of pop ups. Not like two or three talking about 10+ when I open up IE. Not only thats, but Norton says I have adaware on my system and it cannot delete it nor quarintine the programs. My roomie says to reformat my HD, but he's not that computer savy. I have a firewall through Norton but its not up and running. Would the firewall prevent the pop ups? Do I have to reformatt my HD? How do I get rid of these adaware programs? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For me it's eating a balanced diet. I know two vegitarians at my work, and they have horrible diets. They eat those dried soups, and vegetarian pre packaged foods that are loaded with salt. Plus they're always complaining about dry skin, hair etc. I also know a lot of people that eat McDonalds three times a week. Like I said before it's about a balanced diet and in IMHO meat is a part of my balanced diet. I dont eat it everday, but a few times a week.

Same thing happened to my grandmother, although she had pancreatic cancer. I was too young to remember, but my mom said it was horrible for her to watch her mom the last 2 months. I think it should be legal. Everyone should have the right to die with dignity, especially if you have a terminal disease.

My brothers getting into wreck diving. That is some hard core diving from what he tells me.The training is pretty intense. Looks like a lot of fun. I might try it in the future when I can afford both sky and scuba diving.
