Update: It turns out my "fresh" feta had gone sour. I had some fresh parmesan, so I layered that on top of the pesto, then slices of grilled chicken, a few artichokes hearts and finally topped with some fresh mozarella. I didn't do the olives, or the fresh tomatoes... The whole thing grilled on the BBQ for 20 minutes, it was awesome. It's amazing what you can do with a bbq.... I'm weird. I'm a guy and I love cooking. _Am I work admissions for a Culinary School in Chicago - plenty of guys enrolled there...and if they are single, the odds are more in their favor than at the DZ. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... No hype - that FTP site is well known on dropzone.com and rec.skydiving, it has been around in one shape or another for at least the five years I have been in the sport. As skydivers, we have to accept that Mals, accidents and incidents happen. We pass on this info to each other via reports, video, pictures so we don't lose anymore friends, esp if it was avoidable. Up until last year, there used to be a web site that documented all the fatalities in the sport - this was meant to be an educational tool - each incident had a "how could this been avoided" section. There are some people that sell their videos to the media, and some media folk that love to showcase the sport as extreme and deadly to help with the ratings. That is where the hype and downside to all this comes in.... The great thing about this moderated forum is that we are able to talk and learn about these things here without any of the hype BS that tends to surround it - just remember, it requires respect to all those involved. It is great that you want to learn to save yourself when your first malfunction happens! Keep doing that, keep reading, and keep asking questions here! This reminds me - finally saw a new Mal video on RealTV the other night - this one was in Russia - video of 4 way. Video guy deploys into line twists that come over his helmet and knocks the helmet over his eyes. Looks like 4 or 5 cells open, slider up high, not spinning. Jumper never chops, never pulls his reserve, no AAD fire, slams into the ground and lives with nothing broken. Hey Lew! Good to hear you are kinda up and about! I was going to stop by and see you on the way home to Chicago from Florida on Monday - but I pulled into the Champaign/Rantoul area just before sunrise and after 19 hours in the car, I was smelling a little funky and was telling myself really bad jokes (and laughing out loud). Stopped by the airport and saw that the lights were out in the camper, so I figured Cajones was still asleep or with you. Thanks again for jumping onto that hoop dive at the last second - the pictures turned out great! I'll remember next time to point away from the sun to make your job a bit easier. It would be interesting to note that I walked through the Midway Airport TSA checkpoint on August 5th around 6pm with a sport parachute. I did not possess a ticket, just a guess gate pass from Southwest - the rig belonged to my girlfriend that was right behind me. Well, guess the five month vacation finally comes to an end tomorrow! What a way to end it with the last two weeks at Rantoul, Summerfest and Florida (whew, what a drive!)! Start my new job at noon! So, some vibes please, I'm think I remember what the real world is like. :) Also, this officially marks my departure from IT for the first time in ten years - so, it should be interesting. Lol, it's not the computer I use, it's the one my Dad and the children use. I'm sure it's from the kids. Most of the pop-ups were casino sites. I know the kids play a lot of on-line games, and I'm pretty sure that's how that computer got overrun. I admit it. I put the Jaeger in the OJ. Jerm drank all the vodka, so i attempted to make a screwdriver with Jaeger. It was pretty nasty so i thought it got thrown away. I can't beleive Bo ended up drinking it.
