As Moody pointed out - you may not qualify again down the road for the grant money. Most people never get a grant....If you still have more school down the line, save the cash - even put it in a short term CD - and use it for the next semester of school or save it for when your Title IV or third party loans come due 6 months after your last class. It allows you to really roll you shoulders up to your ears, which will give you a longer and flatter track. I wear my leg straps about that loose, but I have a peice of bungy between the legstraps to keep them from sliding down my legs. I don't think I have ever heard of that one. If they had better customer service with real people skills, they would still be a company I would consider buying a new rig from them and be ok with the long wait. I understand they are busy, but they need to treat their customers better on the phone, and in person. Same here, no problems so far. And hopefully there won't be any problems either. I do NOT want to loose a contact lens at altitude. Vision -11 + cylinder with both eyes is not fun without correction I picked up a pair of Curv-X sunglasses at Para Concepts a couple weekends ago, picked up a sport band that keeps it around your neck as well. Total investment was about $17. In freefall (RW) they worked great, and my contacts never felt like they were getting dry. Plus, they didn't fog up under canopy (they did just a bit in the plane, but once the door was open they cleared up). I placed the band up to the folding part on the arms, tied a simple knot behind my head and then put the NVertigo on. I don't think I will be going back to goggles anytime soon. best part? There is a supplement that is becoming one of the new "must have" things at GNC type stores - Chitosan (sp?). First off, if you are allergic to shellfish, don't take it. What it's supposed to do is help block the absorbtion of carbs into your system. Chitosan stays in your system for a short period of time, so you need to take the pills within 30 minutes before you have your meals, otherwise they claim it won't work. There is no miracle pill that will help you lose weight. And not everyone reacts well to these pills - they can cause a significant increase in your BP/pulse even when you are at a rest. They have even been known to cause heart palpatations. Only take them if you are working out, and just before you work out. The idea of these pills are to help increase your heartrate to get you into that cardio and fat burning range a lot quicker, thus optomizing your workout. What most people don't realize is that you will still lost just about the same amount of weight on the workout plan (with a balance diet) without the pills.
